Pain is all I could feel. Pain in my head, my in my abdomen, and in my heart. My childhood sweetheart Raoul has hurt me and killed himself. Tear started to fall down my eyes as I thought of him once as a loving man, one who cared about me and our future. But then after our honeymoon everything changed, he started to scare me and my child. How could I still love a man who hated me?
I started to cry but then heard the most heavenly voice.
"My Christine, your awake. Thank god.."
I turned and saw him Erik.
"Erik!"
I said sitting up as he came to my side and hugged me tightly.
"Where am I?" I asked him looking around
"In my home. I had the doctor come over to remove the bullet and treat your wounds."
I smiled as I looked at him.
"What's the matter darling?" He asked surprised at my reaction.
"I love you." I said completely confident
"Y-You What.."
"I love.."
I was interrupted by him pulling me to his chest and crashing his lips to mine. I haven't felt this happy since the night we shared together so long ago. I wrapped my arms around his strong shoulders pulling him close. He pulled away and kissed each of my knuckles.
"I love you." He said with tears in his eyes.
"Don't cry love I'll always love you." I said caressing his cheek
"I will love you forever I always have loved you and I want to spend my life devoted to you and our child."
My heart swelled and I felt finally complete as I gazed into his golden eyes.
"I will stay with you and go anywhere you ask. I will love you till death and then after."
I smiled and hugged him.
"You are home, my angel."
He whispered softly kissing my head.
