Third Person POV

Taejung hated school.

But that was a given, didn't all kids?

However Taejung had it worse. Growing up in a mafia, Taejung didn't have a lot of people skills.

He had basically been taught to resolve issues by beating someone up or getting beaten up.

It was his sophomore year, and he'd had to switch schools already. His parents had initially placed him in an elite private school, but that idea had been dashed after he'd beaten up a teacher for telling him to stop being an idiot.

So now he was stuck attending the nearest public school, but he didn't mind.

He entered the school and looked around with lazy eyes, receiving some curious glances from other students.

"Hi!" Taejung cut a glance downwards, meeting the eyes of a petite boy with large round glasses and curly black hair. He was adorable. "I'm Misun! Are you new?"

Taejung flicked his eyes up to see some jocks in the background snickering behind Minsun's back.

He heard snippets of what they were saying. Most of them were along the lines of "that little slut" and "gay faggot".

Taejung looked back down at Misun who seemed a little nervous.

"Yeah, I'm new."

"I'm the class president. I-I'll be showing you around..." Taejung shrugged and allowed Misun to lead the way.

Along the way they passed the group of jocks, a few girls around them.

"Is the slut so desperate that he's latching onto the new kids now?" Misun bowed his head, powering his way through. Taejung, however, stopped in front of the leader of the group and gave him a bored look.

The jock smirked, thinking he'd made a new friend. "Don't waste your time with this slut. He'll suck your dick for a penny. Or even if you just ask. He probably has every disease out there."

The others snickered. Misun stood in the background, feeling ashamed. It wasn't his fault that he had to show new kids around. He just hoped this new kid wouldn't beat him up at the end of the day for even looking at him.

"He confessed to me once. Tried to jump right on me like the desperate faggot he is."

Taejung sighed and looked down briefly, before looking back up at the guys. "I feel sorry for you." He finally said.

The jocks smirked, sending victorious smirks towards Misun who looked dejected and was preparing himself for the beating he would most likely receive later. Taejung glanced at Misun before turning back to the jocks.

"I feel bad that you're obviously a closeted gay who's too afraid to admit it. Who lashed out at someone who isn't afraid to be who he is and not pretend otherwise. You turned down someone who would probably make a great boyfriend rather than be a slut who throws themselves on everything with a nice face and a dick like these whores you surround yourself with."

Dead silence filled the hall. Misun was shocked, to say the least.

He felt tears sting his eyes.

Nobody had really come to his defense like that before.

The jock's cheeks burned with embarrassment as whispers filed the halls. This time about him.

"You little-"

"Dude, you can't. You already got a warning about fighting. You can't be kicked off of the team. We got that big game soon."

The jock stepped back.

"You got lucky this time." The jock said, pointing his finger at Taejung.

He shrugged and turned back to Misun. "So, where to?"

"T-thank you..."

"I didn't know that was a destination."

For the first time that day, Taejung smiled. Misun offered a shy one back. "T-this way..."

At the end of the day, Taejung was walking towards the doors.

"Hey faggot lover!" A voice yelled. Taejung turned to find a jock, angrily walking towards him. The next thing he saw was a fist coming towards his face. Taejung simply tilted to the side slightly, grabbed the jocks wrist and twisted, putting a hand on his shoulder blade to keep the arm straight, sending the jock right into a submission.

He gasped. "Don't fuck with me." Taejung said simply, before pushing the jock to the ground and walking away.

Soon he was by his car, sliding in. He drove out of the school, cursing out his parents who made him go.

He looked to the side and saw Misun walking along the sidewalk. It was rather cold out and he didn't have a coat. Taejung made a split second decision and pulled up along the road, rolling his window down. "Need a ride?"

"Depends? Did you just use a pick up line?" Taejung cracked a grin and unlocked his door as Misun entered the car. "Thanks..."

"No problem. You live nearby?"

"Not necessarily. I live on the other side of town, but the nearest bus stop is like two miles away..."

Taejung scoffed and drove off, following Misun's directions. "I'll give you a ride then. Your parents are insane."

"They can't afford a car for me."

"Then you can just go on and rely on me." Taejung turned smiled at the boy. But his phone suddenly rang. His car was plugged up to his phone with Bluetooth, so as soon as he accepted the call, his dad's voice filled the confined space.

"Tae, where the fuck are you?" Jungkook asked, impatient.

"Why?"

"You..." his father sighed. "The dinner!?"

Taejung took a moment.

"...shit!" And suddenly he was doing U-turn, spending down the streets.

"You have five minutes!"

"I have a friend in the car!"

"Well they can be your date then."

"Jesus fucking Christ you old man! Why didn't you call me earlier!?"

"I'm not your fucking assistant! I don't have to do shit!"

"Yeah, well fu-"

"Kim Seokjin Taejung!" Another voice screamed. Taejung shut up instantly, breaking out into a cold sweat.

"J-Jin Hyung..."

"Don't you ever fucking use that kind of language ever again! You should be ashamed! Honestly, how did you raise your child, Jungkook?! Taehyung would never say such fowl things-" Taejung Hyung up at that point, looking down at Misun apologetically.

"Sorry for that, you're gonna have to meet my family now and be dragged to a company dinner...I'm saying sorry in advance for the people I call family members."
