Third Person POV
"How'd you find out you were gay?"
Misun spit out the water he was drinking, coughing profusely after Taejung had asked him that question.
"Why--what?" Misun finally managed, giving Taejung a look.
Jung simply shrugged. "Just curious."
"How did you find out you were gay?" Misun countered.
"I live and breath in gay everyday. You have met my family, right?"
"That doesn't mean you have to be gay."
"You're right." Taejung leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. "You won't get upset if I tell you, right?"
"Depends on what you're about to say."
"I fooled around a bit at my other school. I got drunk at a party and ended up sleeping with a guy. After that I couldn't sleep with girls anymore."
Misun stared at Jung, shocked.
"You what..?"
"See? You're upset."
"I'm surprised. You don't seem like the player type."
"I used to be." Taejung winked. "But my eye caught a certain beautiful boy who would probably never look my way for a heartbeat if I were to act in such a way."
Misun nodded. "You're right."
"Now you."
"Well..." Misun blushed a little, but Taejung saw that the boy was frowning.
"I take it it wasn't really a good experience?"
"Oh not at all." Misun said. He sighed. "My freshman year I met this Junior who showed me around and was basically partnered up as my 'big brother' as the school liked to address it. He was really nice and never let me be alone. He knew that I had trouble making friends."
Misun bit his lip, trying to hide the frown. "Anyway, I developed a crush on him, since he was so nice to me."
"Ah, the confess and rejection thing?"
"Actually, no. He accepted my affection." Misun rolled his eyes. "I won't deny that I'm still a little naive, but trust me, it was a lot worse back then. He tried to make a move on me and tried to convince me to have sex with him but I refused. I was nowhere near ready for that."
"What did he do?" Taejung asked, his eyebrows furrowing. His tone was laced with anger.
"He dumped me. Next day everybody knew I was gay and he spread nasty rumors about me. Hence, the slut and whore names people like to call me."
"I'd like to punch him in the face."
"Me, too."
"Yet you didn't even want to learn how to do so."
Misun grumbled under his breath as Taejung cracked a small smirk. Misun looked up suddenly and picked up his drink.
"What's it like? Have sex with a girl?"
"Why do you wanna know? And shouldn't you be upset?"
Misun shrugged. "I didn't know you back then, and why would I be jealous of people who don't have you anymore? Plus, it's obvious that I will never sleep with a girl, So I was curious."
Taejung shrugged. "I'm not gonna go off and say how horrible it was and all that shit a lot of gay people like to say. It was pretty good. But women tend to be...more needy? I don't know, they expect more than males do, I guess." Misun nodded.
"That doesn't even sound fun."
"It was at the time." Taejung shrugged once again. "Anyway, have you ever slept with a guy?"
"No." Misun answered truthfully.
"No blush? You didn't even sound embarrassed."
"Why should I be? I've never had sex, i don't know what it feels like. I barely know anything about it. Plus sex is a normal part of life and--"
"Okay, I don't need the dad talk from my boyfriend." Taejung laughed out. Misun smiled and sat back. "How about we get out of here?"
"Sure." Misun got up from the table in the cafe they were in and followed Taejung back towards his car.
"We should talk like this more."
"What? Instead of playing video games and talking about how irritating your family is all of the time?"
"Do not tell them that we talk about that." Taejung warned.
"I've been sworn to secrecy. Plus I think Jin would murder me as well."
"You're his precious baby." Taejung said, rolling his eyes. "Hey, it's your birthday soon, too, right?"
"Yeah..? Why?"
"Just wondering."
"You don't have to do anything for it. I'm not really into gifts or parties."
"Because you're too nice to accept them or because you genuinely don't like them?"
Misun remained silent and Taejung smiled slowly.
That's what he thought.
