A COOL BREEZE BLEW GENTLY OVER MORGAN'S CLOSED EYES. Listening to the soft melody of the wind, was always a favorite pastime for Morgan. To him, the wind felt nostalgic; it made him remember a time where his mother and Morgan would sit together on the grass outside their New England home, watching the waves crash against the shore, and the wind whistle into their ears. Their most meaningful conversations took place on their front lawn. It was just them against the world: Morgan and his mother. He loved her, even until the moment she died.
His eyes fluttered open as a curtain of blonde hair was blown in front of his face. Morgan brushed it out of his eyes, sighing. It were times like these that allowed him to truly think about the world. And it were times like these that made him miss Abel even more than he already did.
I had made a mistake, Morgan thought. No, many mistakes. He shouldn't have walked out on Abel. He shouldn't have jumped to conclusions without getting Abel's side of the story. And now, Morgan would never have a chance to even ask him for it.
Morgan regretted so many things in his life, but he could never regret meeting Abel. Abel was (and still is) the love of his life, despite all his 'imperfections', one could call them.
Now, more than ever, he wanted Abel back. Abel understood him. He knew what made Morgan tick and what made Morgan angry. He knew him better than anyone else.
And one thing that made Morgan angry was seeing him with another person. How could Abel have moved on when his heart was still bleeding? True, he had left Abel. Surely, Abel hadn't moved on yet. But, Abel looked so... happy at the cafe with that girl. Morgan felt jealous seeing Abel smile, touch, and kiss that girl. It should have been him in Abel's arms. Morgan's fist clenched just thinking about them, but he knew what Abel's true intentions were (sort of) for that girl.
It just wasn't right for Morgan to feel the way he did. He knew he didn't have the right to feel, yet he couldn't help himself. He couldn't help his emotions.
Morgan closed his eyes and fell back onto the grass. He wanted to scream, at the top of his lungs, at himself and at Luci (but doing so would alert the neighbors, and he didn't feel like getting the cops called on him).
Morgan believed Luci over Abel, without even questioning her. She told him to break up with Abel, before he was Abel's next victim. And the unbelievable thing was that Morgan actually did break up with Abel. He would always regret that.
But what words could Abel say to defend himself?
Morgan was sitting on the couch, playing with his cell phone when a knock came at the door. He opened it, and to his surprise, a beautiful woman stood at his door. "Hello Morgan," she said with a smile.
"Um, how do you know my name?" He asked. She blinked, her smile faltering, before it returned brighter than ever.
"You need not know that Morgan. I am Luci, and I need to tell you something. Can I come in?" Morgan opened his mouth to tell her 'no', but something about her compelled him to let her in (like... hypnotism?). Almost robotically, he nodded and opened the door wider to let her in. Luci sat down on his couch and folded her hands in her lap. Morgan shut the door, and sat across from his 'guest'. He was now out of his trance.
"It's about Abel," Luci said.
Morgan's mouth opened slightly. "What happened?" He asked worriedly. Various situations of what could have happened to Abel ran through his head, each of them making him more anxious.
"Well, I'm not sure how to tell you this, but I won't sugarcoat it. I'll just give it to you straight." She took a deep breath. "He's a demon from hell," She stated plainly, looking to her manicured nails that were painted blood red.
Demon. Demon. Demon? "Demon?" Morgan asked, perplexed.
Luci nodded. "He's a demon. From hell. Who enjoys devouring the souls of human beings."
"Wha- how?" Morgan stuttered. Was this a dream? Surely.
"Well, he likes to lure them to his house, with his prey thinking that they're going to have sex with him." Luci said, giving Morgan a soft smile (she was trying to comfort Morgan, yet her smile only unnerved him). "Sometimes he gets into relationship with his prey. I suggest you get out of that relationship, as quickly as you can before you become his next victim."

Abel and Juni walked out of the restaurant (not hand-in-hand, much to Juni's disdain, but much to Abel's delight). In Juni's opinion, she thought the date went wonderful. She felt they were like two puzzle pieces made for each other; they were compatible in every way (despite that Juni did most of the talking)."Thank you for brunch," She said, looking to her feet. Juni felt like she was dreaming. Check 'have a meal with your attractive billionaire boyfriend' of the bucket list!
"It was no problem, really." Abel smiled. He loved helping people out. Abel thought that he should help out those less fortunate than him, since he had so much money at his dispersal. If this relationship was helping Juni, then he should lock it down. "Would you like to come to my house?"
Juni's lips parted. Was he suggesting what she thought he was? If so, the correct, and possibly only, answer to Abel's question would be 'hell yes'.
"Sure, Abel." She looked up to him with the most enticing smile she could muster. "Let's go."
