Love

she sees you standing there.
In the corner looking bare
All lonely sad faced
Now she knows that
All you need is a little
Love.

Know that she loves you.
Know that you're her rock,
As she knows that she's yours.
Two rocks leaning against each other
Fighting against
The flow of life.

To stay together
Till death do us part,
Till they finally slip and float away,
Meeting someone new
And forgetting about you.

Never seeing you again

Till he sees you
In that same corner
Fighting to stay in control,
Of the demon inside
Ripping its way out
Into reality.

He walks over feeling bad.
You start talking
You laugh for the first time,
In months.

Your happy.
With a smile
As big as a rainbow,
As big as the moon,
As big as your love combined.

You see the spark in his eyes
As he slowly leans in,
So close.

His breath shakes your hair,
like leaves in the autumn air.
Your heart flutters,
As if there were a thousand humming bird in your chest.

Then he's summoned
by the demon herself
He pulls away
He says a quite,
Yet sorrowful goodbye.

Yet again, he floats.

Floats away.

Never to be seen again,

As the devil drags him down.

A realisation hits,
You stand fighting for strength.
Wiping away your tears,
You fight the strong current pushing you down.

You see him fading,
The water dragging you the other way.
One last push and you can reach him.

One last burst of energy and you can give up.

You reach him,
Holding his arm,
He turns.

A look of hatred from his eyes,
As if you smelled of fish.
You slowly let your self run down the stream.
Slowly fading away,
From the love of your life,
From your rock,
Your life,

Your Love.
