Chapter 12

Taehyung's POV
It's been two days since I have gotten out of my room. My parents say I'm just depressed and of course that's true. But I'm more than depressed, I'm broken-hearted. Who wouldn't be after seeing their first boyfriend cheat on them on their date? I was feeling done with life, is this how people feel when they break up? Just when I was about to cry again, the door of my room opened, "Hey dude, how you doing?"

"I'm fine, Jimin" I answered, not even looking at him

"Oh really? You don't look fine to me at all" he said as he made his way in my room and crossed his arms

"Please, just leave me alone" I said as I felt my lips quivering.

"Tae, nothing is going to work if you lock yourself up. I suggest you go see Jungkook" he said as he sat on the edge of my bed

"See him?? After what he did? How can you say that?" I said as I sat up

"Tae, do you think Jungkook would ever do that to you? Hurt you on purpose? I don't think so. That boy is an angel! There's no way he would do that. You should know better, Tae"

"I saw with my own two eyes him kissing that girl!" I yelled as tears were rushing down my face. Jimin quickly embraced me and felt ease in his arms. I sobbed in his chest until I didnt have any tears left.

"You should really go see him. I went to see him just now and you have no idea what he looked like. He looked like a zombie. He kept crying, saying he loves you and that he would never hurt you" Jimin said as he ran his fingers through my hair

I pulled away from his embrace and looked at him, "h-he loves me? Then, why..."

"That's why I told you to go see him. He's hurt, Tae, just as you are. You too seeing each other is the only way that can solve this. Please go see him as soon as possible. If you don't, you will regret losing such a great person"

"Wow. Thanks, Jimin. I'll go see him tonight" I said as I smiled up at him.

"Now, that's my boy!" Jimin cheered as he clapped his hands

"Seriously, thank you, Jimin, for being here for me" I said as I hugged him one last time before going in the bathroom to shower.

"I'll always be here for you, buddy!" Jimin yelled before going out of my room.

I smiled to myself, thinking what did I do to deserve such a great friend like him.
