Part: 6

Chan's POV

I effortlessly reach for my toes and stood up straight again to move to the next step in my warm-up routine.

Its been days since i started training, it was fun like before but Soonyoung doesn't talk to me that much during training, unlike in our house he becomes more noisy and clingy towards me which I'm  used to

There's a rule that trainees aren't allowed to date, maybe Soonyoung was just preventing us from getting caught, but the fact that he practically ignores me and finds a way to not talk to me just makes me angry.

I finished my warm-ups and looked straight at where Soonyoung is; he is talking to Jihoon.

Me and Jihoon aren't close, its only been a few days but I could tell that we couldn't get along at all. There's always this wall between us and we couldn't seem to have a long conversation together.

I decided to approach the two to join their conversation but Seungkwan came out of no where and pulled me by the arm

"What?" I whined,

"Come with me outside plss"

Seungkwan pulled me to a vending machine far away from the training room; He let go of my arm to press some buttons for his drink.

"Do you want anything?" He asked

"Seriously.... you could have just went here by yourself!"

He said nothing;

He turned around and looked at me with sad eyes

"Ey why the sudden changed of expression?, Whats wrong?"

"I didn't take you here only just for soda" he said and hesitated for a short second "i have to tell you something important, you see-"

"Seungkwan Hyung!!!!" Someone shouted from the other end of the hallway, it was Minghao,

"What is it"

"Can you help me with the wirers they're all...uuhh tangled up??" He said confused, "did i say that correctly??";
Minghao has trouble with his korean so he asks us constantly for any corrections
"Yes your doing great sweetie", when Minghao heard that he smiled sweetly. 'im not the cutest one here anymore' i thought

"You can go now Seungkwan, just tell it to me later" i said and shooed them away
"Oh okay" he left hesitantly with Minghao

When they were out of sight, I looked at the Vending machine filled with lots of drinks. Pledis didn't have any vending machines before so I was amazed to see one.

I took out some coins and got a drink from it.

I sat down on a nearby couch and stayed there for a while. It was okay for me to be late in practice since everybody will be performing one by one in front of our trainer for assessment, and it will be a long time before my turn.

A few minutes has passed until i heard someone walking down the hallway

"Oh hi Chan" Seokmin said,
I wave at him and watched as he buys a drink

"Are you done with the assessment?" I asked; Seokmin sat down beside me
"Yah, he said my dancing needs more work" he laughed

"Oh"

"Your the last one right?"

"Yah"

There was silence.

"Hey Chan can i ask you a question?"

"Sure"

"A personal question"

"Yah go, wait, did I do something wrong?" I looked at seokmin

"No no" Seokmin said,
feeling relieved I relaxed my self on the couch again

"Then what is it?"

"Are you in good terms with Jihoon"

I got confused by his question,
"Why are you asking?"

"Because Jihoon said you broke up with Soonyoung a long time ago and that they are dating now"

"What."

"Sorry if I made the atmosphere awkward its just that Im worried that you two don't get along because of it-"

I couldn't believe what i was hearing; Seokmin wouldn't joke around with something like that. Then Soonyoung he- NO NO;
Seungkwan...Seungkwan He could've said something by now

"THE ONE AND ONLY LEE CHAN, AKA SOONYOUNG'S BOYFRIEND"

"About Jihoon hyung-"

"He's......"

"What no, that's not-"

"I have to tell you something important, you see-"
(A/n: Small flashback ^)

"Has he been.." i dropped my can of soda shocking Seokmin
"Chan?!!, are you okay?!"

"How long has it been?"

He looked at me confusingly
"W-wha-"

I tried to keep my self calm, I can't just jump to conclusions, who knows, maybe Jihoon was joking around that time.

"When they started dating, how long has it been?"

"About a year, around the time you stopped practicing; jihoon said they were soulmates so-"

I stood up so suddenly that it shocked Seokmin once again.

"I didn't know" i said and walked to pick up the can i dropped

"Wait you didn't know?!!"

I ignored Seokmin and went to the practice room.
