Part 15

~flashback~

Chan's POV

"Sorry kid but you have to go..." the appartment owner said and i went to pack my things. It's expected that their kicking me out, I've been freeloading here way too long

Heavy rain continously pour over me as i sat on the sidewalk, shivering because of the cold. All my clothes and things were wet and there's nothing i could do but hug my legs myself, waiting for the rain to stop.

I slowly closed my eyes, tired of my restless but pointless journey.

I shouldn't have left.

I should have just endured all my parents beatings and-

The merciless rain had stopped pouring over me but i could still hear it. I looked up, and saw something dark hovering over me instead of the gloomy sky.

"You'll get sick if you stay here" a boy about my age said but i didn't answer.

The boy had pulled me up and dragged me together with my things to the house that i didn't even noticed was there.

It is a simple house, nothing special about its appearance but it does makes you feel cozy and right at home.

The boy introduced himself as seungkwan; he was not tall but isn't small either, he had the healthiest build you could ask for from a teenage boy, and he had the plumpest cheeks ever. Although his appearance wasn't the best since he didn't expect a guest to be here today.

Seungkwan lead me to the bathroom,
"Go take a shower a first, I'll be leaving clothes for you to wear" he said, i didn't protest and just did as told; it's not like there is better things for me to do and he had help me from the rain just now.

I dried myself after showering. I looked into the mirror right in front me.

It reflected all my impurities. The scars, the bruises, everything

I sighed to myself,

A knock suddenly came from the door, taking me back to reality. "Hey are you done?? I got your clothes" Seungkwan said, I immediately covered my body as fast as i can trying to hide everything, although it was all useless when i had opened the door seungkwan's hand was the only thing that pop up due to his efforts of respecting my privacy. I grabbed the clothes and the door quickly closed shut again by him.

I walked to the living room with the clothes being somewhat (close enough..) a perfect fit to me because i was thinner than average. I scanned the room but seungkwan was no where to be found,

"Over here!" I heard a voice coming from a room, following it lead me to the kitchen.
"I made some chicken soup for ya, so sit"

I sat down on the chair and watched my saviour (seungkwan) prepare the meal. When everything was all set we started eating and it was so good that i ate so fast and wanted more.

"What's your name?" He asked and watched me ate

"Chan"

"Age?"

"14"

"Same age huh.... where are your parents?"

I kept quiet and hesitated to answer; Seungkwan was waiting for my answer when two girls had entered the room, they stopped walking and eyes were wide

"Woah woah, who's this?" One of them said

"A classmate of yours kwan??" The other added. Soon two more people entered, Seungkwan's parents.

Seungkwan stood up from his seat panicking, and tried to think of an answer "u-uh" he stuttered out.

This made me realize that i had stayed too long and I was unwelcomed. I stood up and they all looked at me "sorry, I'll be leaving now" i said "thank you for your help, Seungkwan.." i bowed

"Wait!!"

"So you ran away huh..." i nodded while clenching my fists

"You can stay here as long as you like"

I woke up to the sound of music together with laughter. Seungkwan was no where to be found in our shared bedroom, so i sat up and went outside. I followed where the song was coming from, and it took me to the room of the two sisters.

Their door was wide open, revealing the siblings that are having some sort of mini concert. Each of them had beautiful voices, almost angelic; Is this a family of vocalists!

They noticed me standing by the doorway making me panic. "Oh im sorry did we wake you up?" One of the sisters said,
i shook my head "no...i couldn't sleep anyway"

"Then do you wanna join? It's actually normal for us siblings to jam like this"

I hesitated but joined anyway. They made me sing solo first; i was surprised at how they reacted to my voice even though I haven't practiced for a long time and never got proper training. All their compliments was making me blush.

This place is nice, I hope this happiness never ends..

When I managed to build up my confidence, I followed seungkwan's advice and auditioned for pledis. I got accepted.

"See i knew it you'll get accepted in Pledis Ent." seungkwan exclaimed happily "I'll show you around, come on" he added and pulled me further into the building.

"Oh, heya Seungkwan!" We came across a boy who seems to be a trainee as well. Seungkwan completely stopped in his tracks, he pushed me towards the boy and held me by my shoulders. "Soonyoung, this is Chan he'll be joining us from now on, and Chan this is Soonyoung he's been training here for quite some time now"

Soonyoung held out his hand for a quick handshake and I gladly took it.

Seungcheol's POV

Having a soulmate is a curse. Your life being dependent on someone else's and vice versa, it constraints you.

And there's another secret, it is rare but it can still be felt; and that is Falling in love at first sight of your soulmate. But due to time and greed the concept of falling in love at first sight was lost to humans thus making it rare

Falling in love at first sight is cheesy I know, but you cannot underestimate it.

Other than falling in love when you first set your eyes on your soulmate it also means that you will love no one else but your soulmate and think of no one else but your soulmate, but in my case it is unrequited so i had to give it up.

I made efforts of forgetting Chan but nothing seems to be working, to the point of pleasuring myself with others through physical touch,

and that explains my womanizer side.

As time goes by it gets more frustrating for me. I became impatient and hot-headed.

It really hurts.
