Chapter 1

Emma's P.O.V

I look at the clock. 9.45 AM. Wow I overslept. Who could blame me ?? I couldn't stop thinking about Killian. But also the fact I ruined Regina's happy ending. Nice job Emma.

I pulled on some slippers and walked into the living room where baby Neal was asleep in Mary-Margaret's arms. I mean my mum's arms. I have to get used to that. "Well look who's awake" she said. "You took your time" says David. I mean dad. I rolled my eyes. "It's been a rough night". "Really? Well how about we all go for a walk and talk about it" said mum. "Okay, I'll get changed"

Mum pushed the pram along with Neal while we all talked. "So what happened last night Emma?" I wasn't going to tell her anything about what happened with Killian... but regina I could. Though it wouldn't be easy.

"I didn't tell you everything about the past..."

"Go on..."

"I brought back a woman. I didn't know who she was or her name or anything. All I knew was that she was innocent and was to be executed in the morning... and to make sure she didn't change anything in the past, we took her with us to the future."

"It sounds like you did the noble thing, what's the problem?"

"She's Robin Hood's dead wife"

It took a moment but she soon understood and nodded sadly. "And now Regina is alone..."

"Yep" I nodded glumly 

"Well ... I'm sure we could-" but she didn't get to hear the rest before an a hand tugged at my arm behind. 

"Hook, you scared me!"

"There's no reason to call me that, love. Call me by my real name"

I smiled. 

"Do you think we could ... talk ... alone?" Killain asked, looking at mum.

 "Oh of cause, I'll leave you two to it" she said.

Hook/Killian's P.O.V

"So..how are you ... Emma?"

"Umm... you want the truth or do you want me to bend it"

"The truth"

I could tell by Emma's expression that she didn't want that

"Umm... bend it a little" I corrected

"Well I screwed up Regina's happy ending and knowing her she will be looking for blood!" she almost yelled

I hated to see her this way. God if only we could have just some time where there isn't some crisis happening. "Swan..."

"No Killian! You were right I should have listened to you. I never should have brought her back" she said as she shook her head and looked at the ground

"No, no, no ... swan." I pulled her into an embrace. "You did the right thing. I would have thought you didn't have a heart if you didn't save her" I said as I softly patted down her hair.

"Really?"

"Aye"

She smiled a little. "Thanks Killian"

"Anytime, love"

There was about 2 minutes of dead air after that. God should I make a move? Oh come on your not a coward. "Hey Emma... I was hoping we could spend some time together. Preferably alo-"

I didn't even get a chance to finish my sentence before a bloody dwarf runs up behind us yelling "WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!!"
