Chapter 6

It was 7:15 in the morning and I knocked on the door of the Charming’s apartment. I hope swan wasn’t awake yet, or that I did wake her. Then David opened the door. Thank god.

“What are you doing here, Hook?

“Nice to see you too mate”

“I’ll say it again, what are you doing here?”

“I wanted to talk to you actually”

“Me? About what?”

“Can I come in?”

“Yes I suppose.”

I came in and we sat on the couch.

“Is everybody asleep?” I asked

“Yes. Mary-Margaret and Emma are asleep and Henry is at Regina’s”

“Oh yeah what’s happening with Regina?”

“She’s back with Robin. Good thing too. I’d hate to see her go evil again.”

“What happened with Marian or whatever her name is…?

“She went missing the other day actually. Not sure what happened with her.”

Hmm that’s weird I thought. Well David’s right. We don't need 2 evil people in this town. And I’m sure Emma would have felt guilty about ruining her relationship as well.

“Now why are you here, Hook?”

“I’ve told you mate, call me Killian”

“Why are you here … Killian?”

Oh god I hadn’t really thought this through. I’m asking for advice on his daughter. This oughta be good.

“Well… Emma and I are kind of a … thing now I believe”

“I’m sorry I thought I just heard you say you and my daughter were seeing each other. What did you say?”

“You heard right, mate”

“WHAT?”

“Careful you’ll wake them up!” I whispered.

“David… do you remember a Prince Charles in your past?”

He thought for a moment. “Let me guess that was you?”

“Aye”

“Please mate, you know I’d never hurt her”

He paused

“You promise you won’t do anything? She’s had enough pain in her life already”

“I wouldn’t dream of it”

“… Okay. Why did you come here?”

“We have a date tonight and I’m not sure what I should do. I get the feeling dates here aren’t the same as in the enchanted forest”

“Are you asking me for dating advice?”

“… Well when you put it like that it’s much more awkward”

“Fine. Well the first thing we need to do is get you new clothes. From this realm”

“What what’s wrong with what I’m wearing?” I asked slightly offended.

“Are you still a pirate?”

I look down at the ground. Am I? I suppose I will always have a little pirate in me. But if I’m going to be with Emma, I guess I’m not really anymore.

“No”

He smiled “Good. Now I’m writing a note to Mary-Margaret saying that I am … getting groceries”

He finished writing the note and we left the apartment.
