Hi guys! This is my first book. I'd just like to specify some details before you read it. So their ages at the beginning are 17, so they're in high school. I guess that's all I really needed to say lol. I hope you like it! Enjoy.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The bell sounded over the speakers, signaling school was out. Everyone jumped out of their seats packing their books, and ignoring the final words of their teachers as summer break began.

y/n walked down the hallway, with her eyes on the ground. She was a shy girl, and didn't care to talk to the surrounding 'idiots' as she liked to call them She was really fun and outgoing once you got to know her, but she only trusted a few to act like that in front of. For one, her best friend Logan.

Logan was about the complete opposite of y/n. He was outgoing, he took risks, he was hilarious, and could literally make friends with anyone in a matter of seconds. Some people would think he's annoying and a jock, and though y/n agreed to some terms, he was an amazing person. He could hide his true feelings easily, but that didn't mean he didn't care. y/n knew for a fact how caring and comforting he could be, having known him most of her life.

Walking down the hall, she spotted him in a giant group of the so-called popular kids of the school. He spotted y/n, and immediately his eyes lit up. y/n continued down the hall, not wanting to be apart of the group. She wasn't popular, and was never considered drop dead gorgeous. She was pretty, but none of the guys went crazy over her. At least that's what she thought. She walked past the group, and over to her lockers. Having a feeling someone was behind her, she turned around closing the door of the opened locker.

"Ah, the famous Logan Paul decides to give peasant y/n a visit?"

He smiled. "y/n, what would i do without you?" he replied with that all so familiar smirk.

"I'm just your awkward friend that no one even knows exists," you stated as you walk outside the school's doors, and start heading home.

They were neighbors, partially why they'd known each other so long.

"False," he said. "You're my awkward BEST friend," he said emphasizing best. His smirk still on his face. It quickly faded and turned in to a slight frown though.

y/n could tell something was wrong. "Hey Logan," she said shoving his shoulder, "what's wrong?" He looked slightly panicked when asked the question, and plastered a fake smile onto his face.

"What? Nothing I'm fine."

"You lier, I've known you since you were 10, now tell me what's wrong." Y/n's voice was light, not wanting to push whatever was bothering him too far, but still serious. She hated when he hid his feelings, and wanted him to be happy. They  told each other everything, so him acting weird was starting to worry her, though she kept it hidden.

"It's just..." he started , but seemed to not know what to say to continue.

     "Yes?" Y'n asked.

"I just....I'll tell you tonight okay?"

"Fine. 10 o'clock, my window." she said. "Are you sure you're okay?" she asked one last time as they stopped in front of her house they had reached.

"It'll hopefully be explained tonight." he said, looking at the ground.

"Okay," y/n replied still worried of what was going to to make him act this serious .After all, he was always being loud, fully of energy that could last days. "See you at 10." she said, waving one last goodbye before walking to the front doors of her house, and inside.

  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ahhhhhhhhh I know it's crappy right now, but it'll hopefully get better. I'll either post more tonight or tomorrow depending on how much time I have. I hope you guys liked it so far!

Love y'all!
