Logan watched as y/n's face filled with shock.

"W...w..what? When?" she asked, her voice slightly cracking.

His face filled with same as he replied, "tomorrow afternoon." He once again stared at the ground.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" y'n said slightly louder.

"I was scared. I didn't want you to worry, and i couldn't find the courage to tell you."

Not realizing he was still holding onto her hand, he let go, cheeks flushing bright red.

Y/n didn't seem to notice, and walked back to her bed, sitting on the edge.

Logan felt so guilty. Y'n was his best friend, putting aside the fact that he secretly had a crush on her, and he never wanted to hurt her in any way.

He walked over, and once again sat by her. She looked up at him, and he saw the tears brimming in those beautiful eyes of hers. He embraced her in a hug, wrapping his arms around her, while she buried her face into his chest, and finally let go. she cried, and cried, and he never let her go.

     "Y/n, I'm so sorry. I should've told you."

Looking back up at him, she wiped her eyes, and sniffed her now runny nose.

"don't blame yourself. I would've done the same thing. I just don't know how I'm going to survive without you, even if you are the most annoying person on the planet," she said ending with a smirk.

"Ahhhh the humor never leaves," he laughed, relived she wasn't  mad directly at him, and how she was still in her joking mood.

"Where are you even moving?" she asked barely above a whisper.

     "L.A. Somewhere in the city."

Her eyes were saddened again, realizing how far away he would be from Ohio.

Seeing her sadness appear, he once again wrapped his arms around her.

"I'll make sure to call and text you everyday."

I can't believe I'm losing my best friend," she said, letting her tears reappear.

Those words broke Logan. Hot, silent tears fell down his face. He couldn't believe he was leaving her. The girl he talked to about anything. The girl he told dirty jokes with. The girl who was always there for him no matter what. The girl he liked more than a friend.

The girl he loved.

Moving away in a different state was destroying him on the inside. He hadn't told her how he felt, and he couldn't now, she didn't feel the same way about him. He didn't know what to do.
