My Maverick

Chapter 12

     After the meet-and-greet, Logan practically sprinted the whole way to the coffee shop. It had been too long, and he needed to know what's been going on.

     He rushed inside the shop, and scanned the booths until he found a familiar head of brown hair. He quickly went over and sat by Daniel.

     "Wow someone's in a hurry. but i can understand why," Daniel said when he realized it was Logan.

     "Sorry," Logan spluttered. "I just need answers."

     "And I'm here to give you them," Daniel replied. "This could take a while," he said with a deep breath.

     Daniel told Logan everything. all about what his dad did to how hard y/n had been trying to get a hold of him again. 

     At the end of it, Logan felt so many emotions all at once.

     He felt anger towards his dad. How could he have done this?

     He felt sadness for putting y/n through all of this crap. But he was also happy to now that y/n had been trying to see him again. He missed her so much, and would give anything to hold her in his arms again.

     Looking back at Daniel eh asked, "Does she know you're here?"

    "No she doesn't," he replied 

     Pursing his lips, Logan thought for a moment. He needed to see her...but he was on tour for the next six months.

     "I will see her Daniel," Logan started, "but I don't know how because I'm still on tour...and for the next six months."

     "Don't worry, I understand. I won't tell her though so it's a surprise," Daniel finished with a wink.

     Logan laughed.

     "In all seriousness though, you don't realize how much this means to me. You coming this all this way to help me fix something I've waiting so long for," Logan said.

     Daniel smiled. "It's the least I can do. Y/n is an amazing person and I hated seeing her hurt. I can tell she really loves you Logan."

     His heart soared hearing this. He had thought that whole time y/n had forgotten him, and moved on. But she had never stopped trying to see him again.

     Thinking of this, it reminded him. He needed to have a little visit with his dad.

     "Thank you again Daniel," Logan said as he stood up. "I'm paying you for your plane ticket you bought. It not that much compared to what you did, but it's a start," he finished with a laugh.

     "Oh thanks," Daniel said a bit startled. "That helps a lot."

     "Yeah, but you're seriously the one I can't thank enough. I'll see you in six months," he finished patting Daniel on the shoulder.

     "See you then," Daniel responded.

     Logan briskly walked out of the coffee shop, and ran towards his house. 

He had to talk to his dad.

Happy 26 minutes till New Years!!! I'm so excited to write more in 2019 this has been an awesome week and a half😉 Seriously it's been a really short time, but there's been so many reads thank you!!! I'm starting another fanfic soon, and I'll be giving the details in future chapters of this story.
