Chapter 3
(Harry's POV)
My head lifted as my eyes adjusted to the light and my surroundings were becoming familiar again. I turned my head and looked around the room, pulling my arms out of the warm sheets and stretching them out, pointing my toes on both feet and groaning out as my back lifted off the bed slightly. I tangled my fingers through my messy curls and spun my feet to the side of the bed, placing them on the cold laminate flooring whilst sitting up and yawning.
I stumbled into the kitchen and sighed at the mess. Various dirty plates covered in all sorts of colours from the Chinese a few days ago balanced on top of each other in uncertain angles on the worktops, the cutlery thrown into the sink, knives poking out perilously and dish cloths strewn on the floor.
What a typical student flat. I rolled my eyes and got to work. If I wasn't going to do it, no one else would. None of the other boys gave a damn if we lived in filth, they were too lazy to care and if they did care, their answer would be to just stay at a different girl's flat every night until it was adequate to live in again. If you can't already tell, I'm very much the responsible one of the four of us.
I spun my head towards the door, still scrubbing at the greasy, stained plate in my hand as a boy with short dark hair and stubble spreading over his chin and jaw stepped into the room.
"Hey Harry" He mumbled and set his keys down on the small coffee table, kicking his shoes off and grabbing the tv remote before proceeding to throw himself on the sofa placed infront of the tv.
"Hey James" I called back, standing the last plate on the drying rack and rinsing the soap from my hands. I dried my hands and threw the damp dishcloth at the boy sprawled across the sofa watching the football and chuckled to myself as it slapped him straight in the face. He cursed as he lobbed the dark blue cloth back at me, missing and landing in the sink. I shook my head at him and sat down on the free chair next to the sofa as James had found a way to make his entire body cover the whole sofa.
"When do the other boys finish today?" I turned to James, beginning to get bored of staring at the tv for 2 hours.
He shook his head. "I don't know man, why? Do you want to do something tonight? Because I am fuck bored." I didn't even know that was a thing.
"Yeah, but I don't know what. I mean Matt got us barred from the cinema for feeling up the employee there." I sighed, I quite like going to the cinema too.
James' laughter bursted out as he remembered the incident. "Oh yeah!! He was convinced that girl wanted to fuck him after she gave him a free Coke, drunken twat." He slapped his knee, obviously finding the memory hysterical. "Gotta give it to Matt though, he's a twat but he's fucking funny" He had a point.
I laughed along, remembering Matt's face when the girl whacked him. "Say, do you want to go to a club?" James fell silent as I pondered the thought.
"What the hell, let's do it!" I stood up and grabbed my coat, throwing James' at him and waiting by the door then slamming it shut as we left.

The bass reverberated from the speakers and the trashy club music was deafening as I threw more of the brightly coloured liquid down my throat. There was a line of empty shot glasses developing infront of me as me and James took each one down, every one making my throat burn and my head that little bit more dizzier. The laser lights spun about the place making it more confusing but the bar man kept lining up more shots for us.
I stumbled to my feet, gesturing to the toilets to James to let him know where I was going and he nodded without a word, simply taking another shot. I headed straight towards them, bumping into people dancing but not even caring. I felt a warm body pressed against mine and looked to my side, finding a girl grinding into me like there was no tomorrow.
Her eyes were closed and it was quite obvious she was smashed. I reached for her chin gently, bringing this stranger's face close to mine and breathed into her ear.
"You wait right here, I've got to go somewhere but I'll be right back for you. I want you dancing just like that when I get back." I wrapped my hand around her bum, giving it a soft squeeze causing her to moan slightly and I smirked, knowing I was getting laid tonight.
Returning back from the toilet, I could see the girl waiting right where I told her to. She was so fucking hot. The alcohol was my fuel as I strolled back to her, wasting no time to wrap my arm around her shoulders and head outside, hailing down a taxi as her lips attacked my neck. After mumbling the address to the man, her lips were now invading mine and her passion growing stronger by the minute. Her hands grinded into my crotch causing me to groan as we turned the corner. Damn she was impatient.

A pounding hangover was the only thing I woke up with the next morning. The girl with no name had disappeared without a word but I was thankful, not having the energy to politely kick her out anyway. I winced as there was a knock at the door, it was probably not even that loud but when your head is being pulverised by a hangover, a mouse squeak is too loud. I opened the door groggily, ready to give whoever just knocked the door some attitude but instead found an empty corridor. Fucking bobby-knockers, grow the fuck up.
There was a vending machine at the end of the corridor, near the entrance with a small coffee machine next to it. I grabbed a plastic cup and placed it underneath the spout, punching the latte button. A hand reaching for a plastic cup next to me caught my eye. My eyes trailed up the unidentified body to find a familiar face smiling at me.
"Is it a habit of yours to get drunk every night?" She giggled half-heartedly, placing her cup in the machine once I had stepped away.
"Morning Sofia." I sighed. I look like utter shite on the morning she decides to join me for even crappier coffee. Great. She put her hands up in mock defense and stepped back slightly.
"Hey, I was only asking! What's up, moody?" Sofia laughed and took her coffee, taking a sip as she leant against the wall opposite me, kicking her leg up to rest her foot against it also.
I mimicked her and began to drink my own coffee, forgetting I even had it in my hand momentarily. "I have the world's worst hangover, I am never touching a drop of alcohol again." I mused, crunching my face up as the pounding in my temples got louder and worse.
"We both know that is dishonesty now, isn't it Harry? That's a sin, you know." How could she be so upbeat and happy at this time in the morning? I actually don't know what time it is, saying that though. I glanced up at the clock above her head, reading it to say 10AM. I want to go back to bed, now.
Just as I opened my mouth to dismiss Sofia so I could get my hungover ass to bed in self pity, she cut me off, "- Want to go out to lunch today?" Holy shit. I coughed into my coffee cup, taken back by her words.
"I-uh sure! Where do you want to go?" Stop choking up on your words Harry, you sound like a complete dunce.
She pondered the thought, scratching her chin humorously. "Well we could go to this cafe I know and then... TENPIN BOWLING!" Her eyes lit up eagerly at the last sentence as I shook my head amusingly at her child-like actions.
"Okay, I'll meet you in the lobby at.. 11?" She said. I simply nodded again and she walked down the corridor, disappearing around the corner. I smiled to myself, not being able to help the giddy feeling in my stomach as I made my way back to my own dorm. She just asked me out, ME. Myself. I.
I closed the door behind me and strolled to the shower, pulling my clothes off and locking the bathroom door behind. Today should be good.
