A Box, A Flower, and Space

A box,
Empty but not
It's full of space unoccupied.
At night my mind is that box
Empty but not

My wavelengths vary
One second a calm sea,
The next is a swarm of angry bees.
I'm the queen of a beehive that is all but a box
Empty but not

During the day,
The sun shines as our world spins itself
Why?
To reach the warmth once more from the shiny light
The world is like a sunflower.
Our houses are boxes.
We are both a box and a sunflower.

We yearn for warmth
Turning towards whoever can give it,
We treat ourselves like boxes
And become full of unoccupied space.
Find your warmth within yourself,
Fill your box with a life you love

You are the sun and the world.
