What Now?

Steve POV
OMG SHE IS KISSING ME!! I can't believe this is finally happening. Emily breaks away from the kiss and looks up to me. "So is that a yes" I ask with a grin on my face? She rolls her eyes and grabs my hand and we walk out of the bathroom.

When we walk out of the bathroom everyone's attention falls on Emily again. " Wow E, you look real tuff now" says Johnny with a soft smile. " Yeah real tuff" sneers Dally who looked pissed. " Em we need to talk" says Dally gently taking her hand away from mine.

Emily POV
"Yeah ok" I say as Dally takes me outside. "Emily who did this to you" asks Dally. I know for a fact that if I told Dally the names of those Socs he would end up in jail for man slaughter. I couldn't have him going back to jail again. " I don't know Dally man I don't know" I say keeping my head down. " Damnit Emily I know you know" says Dally as he slams his fist onto the side of the house. " Why won't you tell me their damn names E?? They don't deserve to get away with this. They could have killed you man" he practically screams at me. " BECAUSE I CANT KEEP LOSING YOU DALLY!" I scream right back. " You are the only family I got man. I can't keep losing you to the slammer" I say as tears spill down my face. Dally seems taken aback for a few second but then pulls me into a tight hug. " I know em I know it's ok. I won't do anything this time. You are the last family I got too man. I don't know what I would do with out my little sister" Dally says.

Steve POV
I can hear Dally starting to yell so I head towards the door. I'm about to walk about when Darry grabs my wrist and shakes his head no. "Let go of me Darry. He shouldn't be yelling at her man. He should be yelling at MY GIRL" I say as I start to raise my voice. " Your girl?" asks Pony who just walked into the room. " Yeah my girl , she is my girl now" I say eyeing all the guys. " When did that happen" asks Darry still keeping me from going out the door. " A few minutes ago man let me go" I say trying to push through Darry.

" You sure are crazy to think that Dally would ever lay a hand on Em Steve" says Two with a frown on his face. " Yeah! Dally would never hurt Emily" says Soda. I was about to reply when we hear Emily yell " BECAUSE I CANT KEEP LOSING YOU DALLY! You are the only family I got man. I can't keep losing you to the slammer." Then we heard something that caught all of us off guard and by surprise. We heard Emily crying.

" Y'all better let me go out there man" I say whilst gritting my teeth. Darry moves out of the way and I run out of the door.

Dallas POV
The next thing I know Steve comes running out the door and pushes me away from Emily. "What the hell do you think you are doing Steve" I growl as I step closer to him . Steve looked down at Emily and took her in his arms. "What the hell is this" I scream. Steve looks at me dead in the eye and asks " did you make her cry man". " I don't know man. But I also don't know why it matters so fucking  much to you pal. " Because she is my girl" says Steve.
