"Excuse me, master?" "Hm? Something on your mind?" "Yes, sir, I realized I was mistaken after all." "Yes?" "I've had some more time to reconsider what you told me after our trip into the Barbari's future about the interplay between good and evil." Zamasu stood up and went to Gowasu's side, "You told me that one can succumb to evil and then come out with a new understanding, thanks to you. I see the role dark deeds can play such ugly acts can be necessary to achieve a more perfect end." Gowasu turned to his student with a smile, "Yes, Zamasu. I knew you are wise enough to understand if given enough time. I'm pleased you've seen that truth." Gowasu ate one of the cakes Whis gave to them. Without noticing him Zamasu held his hand behind Gowasu's neck and surrounded it with his ki. He concentrated it into a blade and raised his hand up. As he went to strike, Gowasu began coughing. Zamasu quickly stopped. He pounded on his chest and quickly downed his tea. Gowasu took a deep breath and sat up, "That was a close call... I should be more careful. They get stuck in your throat... An obvious hazard, but I was too delighted to notice." Zamasu calmed down and went to attack again. Before he strikes, last night ran through his thoughts.

"Zamasu?" Your head laid on his chest and listened to his heart beat. One of his arms wrapped around you as you held his other hand, with your fingers intertwined with his. "Hm?" His eyes opened a bit. "Do you love me?" "Why are you asking me that?" "Well, you don't like mortals... And... I'm a mortal.... Soooo....." He was silent for a moment and pulled you closer to him. "I've made an exception..." He gave you a long kiss on your forehead. You smiled and nuzzled your face in his neck. "I wouldn't be here if I didn't..."  He kiss your forehead again. You spoke, "You know... Not everyone is evil like you say..." "I've seen what mortals have done for years. They're violent. They just murder each other and throw away their lives for nothing." "Yes you're right... But there's also a lot of people who are against killing and are able to get along with each other. Now, I'm not saying you have to like everyone you run into. But I think you can tolerate people... If you told Gowasu about us, I think he'd be proud of you..."  "I still don't think they could be trusted..." "You're so stubborn." You poked at Zamasu's ear, causing him to tense up and roll away from you. He took a pillow and covered his head. You laughed and hugged him from behind. You kissed his back and pressed your forehead on it. "Could you at least promise me something?" Zamasu lifted the pillow and looked over at you. "What is it?" "Just... Don't do anything crazy..." He turned around to face you again, "What do you mean by that?" "I just don't want you to lose control or hurt anyone... Or... I don't know how to say it..." "I think I get what you're trying to say..." He moved over you and looked down. You reached up and put your hand on his cheek. He softly smiled and moved in closer. You wrapped your arms around his neck while his lips kissed yours.

Zamasu lowered his hand and the Ki around his hand disappeared. "Actually... I wanted to show you something..." He put a hand on Gowasu's shoulder. "Oh? Well what is it?" Zamasu blushed and even smiled a little bit. "Well... I'll show you after you're done..." He put his hands behind his back and walked back to his seat. "I bet it's good....." Zamasu sat down, "I guess..." "Well you're smiling, so it must be..."

"I love you..."

Zamasu nodded, "Yeah..."

"What the hell was that?!" He's supposed to kill Gowasu!!!" He watched Gowasu and Zamasu just talking while they ate. He decided to get a closer look and teleported at the entrance of the temple. He hid behind a wall and listened to them talk.

"So what was it you wanted to show me, Zamasu?" "It's... Um... About the humans... Well one of them..." Zamasu couldn't hide the blush on his face anymore. "Is it alright if I use the crystal ball to explain?" "Sure." The ball appeared in the table and Zamasu made an image of you appear on it. Gowasu smiled, "You're in love with this human?" Zamasu smiled and nodded while the image disappeared. "Hmm? Explains where you were last night." The ball disappeared and Zamasu looked up at his teacher. "I'm proud of you, Zamasu..." He smiled, "T-thank you, master..." "Maybe I could meet her soon?" "Yeah..."

'He... He's in love with a human?! We're trying to kill all the humans! What is he thinking?!' He walked a few steps and teleported back to to his home in the future.
