Jiwoo brought Dahee to a near coffee restaurant after buying the book that he want. They settled at the cornered table of the restaurant just to avoid attention from people. But more like, He, trying to avoid the pair of eyes from random groups of teenagers.
"Seriously, Jiwoo? You haven't changed a bit!"
Dahee was scanning the books from the table while she sips on her frappe that she ordered earlier when they got in the cafe.
"Well..You know my love for books, Noona."
Dahee nod slow, discreetly taunting him. "I certainly do."
Jiwoo laugh before drinking his own drink which was a bubble tea.
"By the way, Noona. What got you here? I thought you live in Gangnam if I'm not mistaken, Right?"
He is literally surprised to see her again in person after all those years. Though they were hoping to have a get-together after that trip they went somewhere in Ulleungdo. Unfortunately, they didn't get the chance to meet again.
Busan is too far from Gangnam and it's possible when they didn't even exchange number unless their names.
Their friendship was actually unexpected. They were strangers that met somewhere from the trekking rail of Ulleungdo. Dahee was alone at that time. There reason, why Jiwoo's friends ask her to join them on the trip and As time, gets further, They clicked and knew more than their names.
Dahee glared. Ever since Jiwoo bump unto her this morning, He could feel that she wasn't feeling well. As if she was aggrieved of something.
"I tried visiting some friend today. Unfortunately, I find out that he wasn't staying at his dorm in the past few weeks."
Jiwoo pout and read her facial expressions at the opposite chair.
He has this feeling that this friend she mentioned was more than that.
"That's bad. Do you have any clues where he went?"
She shook her head. "No. But I tried using my charms to get the favor of his friends."
"Was it successful then?"
Her face starting to look annoyed. "Ani. But I know they couldn't resist my charm. I will surely find out where he's hiding soon." Confidence held her voice.
Jiwoo glimpse at the paper bag over the empty chair beside Dahee.
"And I assume that's supposed to be a gift for this friend of yours, Huh?"
Dahee groaned. She drag the paper bag over the table and push it over Jiwoo's spot.
"I change my mind. You can have it instead." She slump on her own chair and sigh. "Besides, I'm not sure if he will be satisfied with my cooking skills."
Jiwoo raised his brows at her and started expecting the bag.
"When did you have the confidence to cook?" He smirk, peaking at the pink tupperware. "If he have this, He might plop on the very first spoon and reject you afterward."
"Aish." Dahee scowled at Jiwoo.
Truth to be told, She never likes cooking ever since it was invented in the late centuries. It's not her forte.
Until she read from a magazine which was a headline tip for girls who wanted to get noticed by their crush, It quotes that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach.
Therefore she tried doing her best and enroll in a cooking class for three months. But still, she's not positive about the outcome. People who tried her specialties said she did a good job.
