Haeun woke up when she felt someone poking her cheeks. Her eyes slowly sunken and saw Jieun giggling at her roused.
"Good Morning, Mommy! We have a surprise for you! Pali!"
She was still half asleep when Jieun pulled her up. She sat at the edge of the bed collecting her senses. Haeun rub her eyes to clear her sight. Later on, Jihun and Sehun came in her room carrying a cake and a bouquet of pink roses. Haeun was flabbergast.
"Happy Mother's Day, Mommy!" The twins scream in unison startling her in a daylight morning.
Sehun chuckled at her reaction. "Kids, You scared mommy too much."
Her room was filled with laughter of their kids. The twins jump to her lap. They showered her lots of kisses and hugs.
"Mommy, Did you like it?" Jihun trying to gain reactions from her. But she's too surprise to say a word.
"I'm sure mommy loves it, Young Man." Sehun was answering the questions for her.
"Mommy, We bought it this morning! Daddy said you love chocolate cakes and big flowers too!" Jieun bright personality in the morning made her smile.
She glimpse at Sehun. Surprise that he didn't forget all the details of her favorites after almost five long years. It fluttered her so much.
"Mommy, You have to try the cake! Please, Please!"
Haeun blink twice before she turned at her son. "Okay, young man."
"Yehet!" Jihun pulled Sehun to her direction. He smiled at her first before handing her the flowers on his left arm.
"Happy Mother's Day. I'm sorry we have to wake you up. I know you're still tired from work."
Haeun receive the bouquet with a chuckle. "You shouldn't have thought about this, Sehun."
He shake his head. Objecting against her words. "It's your special day. You deserve It, Haeun.. Actually, You are worth more than this."
She felt her heart swing into sentiment with his exquisite message. Sehun showed her the cake says 'Happy Mother's Mommy! We love you!'. She couldn't help but felt emotional inside.
"C'mon, Mommy! Try it!" Jihun pursued and hand her the spoon. She laugh inwardly knowing how prepared they are for this day.
Haeun didn't waste time and took a spoonful of cake. The taste remind her of something. Like she already tried it before but couldn't remember the name. It's already at the tip of her tongue.
"How was it?" Sehun who look so eager to hear her response. He was grinning it made her stunned.
Damn. He look handsome in his own good.
"I-It taste familiar."
"It is familiar."
Haeun slowly recollect back in the old days. She remember having the same chocolate cake from her favorite restaurant near there school campus in Busan before. She and Sehun used to be there when they have to celebrate small occasions.
