Chapter 4 - Bad day

“What’s your number?”

 

“See you soon.”

 

“Thank you.”

Yeah, I admit that. I can’t get him out off my head. His brown hair, green eyes, adorable smile … I wish I’d know his name.

I couldn’t sleep so I decided to get out of my bed and find something what I’ll wear today. I have to look very good. Maybe he will come today again (but it would be better if he would come without that girl).

After I finally prepare great outfit I found out that in café I have to wear black trousers with black shirt no matter who are my guests. Great! Almost one hour lost for nothing.

Well if I can’t change what I will wear I have to change how I will look. Let’s make my face and hair shine.

Smokey eyes, curled hair, waterfall braid in little messy way, which took me a lot of time to do, because to be honest I’m not much handy. I tried my best to look at least little bit more than good. I hope that this time was not wasted.

“Good morning chummy. Here are your pancakes.”

“Wow”

“What?”

“You look amazing!”

“Aww, thank you chummy. I tried my best.”

“Did I oversleep something? Thanks for the pancakes by the way.”

“He said ‘see you soon’ so I want to be ready if he’ll come today.”

“Oh, I see. I hope he will really come because you look fabulous!”

It’s almost 7pm and he still hasn’t come. Actually I don’t know why I was thinking that he will come today, immediately day after. It was really silly of me.

“Sh*t!”

Great! I just broke one glass. Thank God that it was empty. I have to stop thinking about that guy and concentrate on my work.

“Chummy, are you okay?”

“Yeah, everything is alright. I’ll finish the order and then I’ll clean it. Don’t you dare to do it for me!! I said with a little smile on my face so chummy would understand that I don’t mean it in bad way.

“Okay, but if you’ll need help, let me know.”

“Thank you. Just take another order, please.”

I was cleaning broken glass when I heard Lore talking to me.

“I’ll clean it. Go and take this order.”

“No! I told you I’ll do it”

“But chummy this is …”

“Please, just take it for me.”

“Okay”

When I finished the cleaning I looked at Lore and I immediately understand why Lore wanted me to take that order.
