MACKENZIE WOKE UP AND tried to look for her phone, she needed to check her calendar. Her face dropped when she noticed that her phone wasn't here. She must've forgotten it at Lauren's place last night. Mackenzie grabs her fiancés phone and quickly unlocks it, going onto Instagram and logging into her account. She widens her eyes when she notices Johnny followed her. Fanpages posted screenshots of him following her, tagging her and him.

Mackenzie refuses to follow back, but instead she scrolls over his instagram profile. Pictures with fans, family, on stage, promotions. What made him suddenly follow me? What if Lauren told him she was over.

Immediately, Mackenzie messaged Lauren off his phone.

followed me on insta && im on ashton's
phone because i don't know where mine is

LAUREN
i would never do that to u bb.
he figured it out cause you left

Mackenzie left a quick note on the island in the kitchen.

left something at lauren's, i'll be back <3 - Kenzie

She quickly washed her face and brushed her teeth before putting her up and slipping on her slides before getting into the car and driving to Lauren's place.

Mackenzie knocks rapidly on the door, Lauren opens it and hands her the phone. She sighs in relief and hugs Lauren. "Good morning." Lauren smiled at her.

"Good morning, John's still asleep." She informed, making Kenzie nod. She felt like a weight has been lifted off her shoulders knowing she won't run into him.

"I was going to swing by and drop it off but you obviously need it urgently." Mackenzie chuckled nods.

Lauren looks at her best friend sadly, making Mackenzie raise her eyebrows. "What?"

"He saw your phone, he saw your wallpaper. Johnny was crying in his bedroom." Mackenzie's breath got caught up in her throat. He really misses her, yet he cheated.

Mackenzie blinked away the few tears that almost fell. "I'm taken, I'm engaged! I have a daughter and that's all I need in my life right now. Maybe Johnny and I weren't meant to be."

Lauren nods, hugging her best friend goodbye. Mackenzie made a quick stop at Mcdonald's and picked up a breakfast box through the drive thru. All she had on her mind was Johnny. She missed him too, but it's all over now.

The brunette had made it home safely, hearing her fiancé and daughter doing some karaoke in the living room. "Goodmorning!" Ashton & Bella shouted in unison.

Bella saw the Mcdonald's bag and ran over to it with her short legs when Mackenzie set it down. She leaned down and kissed Ashton.

"What did you forget babe?"

"Phone."

They all dig in but all Mackenzie could think about was Johnny and how he was upset to know she was engaged.

Johnny had woken up that same morning, wincing at the amount of sunlight that spilled into his bedroom. Somebody had obviously come in and opened the curtains up. He  immediately got out of his comfortable bed and washes his face before running downstairs.

As he made it down, Johnny notices Lauren walking back from the front door. "Did she come back for her phone?" He mutters.

Lauren nods, smiling with sympathy. "You're always missing a chance to see her. Maybe it's a sign, John. To move on."

He shook his head repeatedly. "No, I am not giving up on her. She was the love of my life, there's no one like her. Do you know how hard I've tried to date other girls, it's just not possible."

"I can't help you with that, and as much as I want you both together I can't hurt her like that. You don't even know the first thing about what's going on with her now. It isn't simple." She explained to her brother.

Johnny was filled with anger. "Then tell me!"

Lauren jumps, she didn't know her brother was this serious. No-one knows how badly she wanted to shout out that he had a kid with Mackenzie, but she couldn't.

"I can't, but maybe you'll find out one day. Anyways, I've got an important business meeting to get ready for, make yourself some breakfast." Lauren left the room, allowing Johnny to take a seat on the breakfast bar.

He put his head in between his hands, feeling tears trickling down his beautiful face.

"I miss her so much."
