Nurse Amanda's Pov: " While Luke was sleeping, I used the scanner to check his temperature, the school decided to get a scanner instead of the thermometer with the silver tip at the bottom because they want to upgrade the equipment we used. "
Liz: " Hi, Amanda. " She says walking into the nurses office.
Nurse Amanda: " Hey Liz, long time no see. " She says pulling Liz into a hug.
Liz: " Your right. " She says hugging her friend.
Nurse Amanda: " I just got done taking his temperature and he has a fever of 101.0° F. " She says to her friend.
Liz: " He does? " She asks her friend.
Nurse Amanda: " Yes. " She says to her friend.
Liz: " Oh my goodness. " She says looking at her son.
Nurse Amanda: " Here is a bag, Luke threw up on himself,this is for you to put his jacket in because he threw up on that and you can basically tell that he got his clothes if you look. " She says handing her the bag.
Liz: " I am here just in time because I have a change of clothes for Luke in the car, be right back. " She says grabbing her keys and running out to the car to grab the change of clothes she had for Luke.
Luke: " Hmm, not again. " He says waking up and running to the bathroom, shutting the door and throwing up in the toilet this time.
Liz: " I'm back. " She says walking into the nurses office again and seeing her friend outside of the bathroom door knocking and seeing if Luke is doing okay.
Nurse Amanda: " Luke, are you okay in there? " She says knocking on the door.
Luke: " No, I'm throwing up again. " He says to the nurse through the closed door before throwing up in the toilet again.
Liz: " He woke up? " She says to nurse Amanda.
Nurse Amanda: " Yes, he rushed to the bathroom to throw up. " She says to her friend.
Liz: " My poor baby. " She says knocking on the door to the bathroom and hoping to get in.
Luke: " Hmm. " He groans because of his stomach bothering him and because of him throwing up.
Liz: " Luke, it's mom. " She says outside of the bathroom door.
Luke: " Give me a minute. " He says starting to dry heave and cough.
Liz: " Okay, baby. " She says sitting in a chair in the office.
Nurse Amanda: " So how have you been? " She asks her friend Liz.
Liz: " Like I said before, I have been doing well. " She says to her friend Amanda.
Nurse Amanda: " That is good. " She says in response.
Liz: " So you are the nurse at my son's school. " She says to her friend Amanda.
Nurse Amanda: " Yeah. " She says sitting at her desk.
Liz: " That's awesome. " She says to her friend Amanda.
Nurse Amanda: " It can be. " She says to her friend Liz.
Liz: " Okay. " She says to her friend Amanda and waits for her son Luke to get out of the bathroom.
While Liz and Amanda are talking and catching up with each other Luke comes out of the bathroom with his hand on his stomach and his hair soaked with sweat from his fever.
Luke: " Mom. " He groans earning a sympathetic look on his mom's face.
Liz: " Baby, oh my goodness. " She says getting up to hug her son and placing her hand on his forehead and cheek.
