"Ahhhh!!!" I screamed as I woke up in my bedroom floor. I guess I had a really bad dream, but I don't even remember sleeping at all. I don't remember anything. I forgot my memories. I don't remember my birthday, address, number, nothing.I have no clue of what's happening right now. The only thing I know is that I was sleeping on the floor. I sat up and got my phone from my bed.
"Ah great 0% battery" I said in anger as I put it on its charger. I walked into the kitchen and seeing a bunch of photos of me and another person who I had no idea of.
I prepared my breakfast. As usual I cooked eggs and bacon, then got a cup of coffee. I sat on the table and put my food down. I ate slowly without thinking about anything. Then threw the excess food away and went back to my room.
Got my phone again and checked it was at least 25%. I got it off the charger and checked everything. I had apps that I never knew the meaning about and people's numbers I couldn't quite remember.
I checked on the background. I saw a dog. So small, soft, delicate, a little puppy. Brown, white hair, colorful eyes. I have never fallen in love with such a cute creature.
I looked around my room and saw a mess. "I needed to clean this up" I thought while getting clothes of the ground.
I walked over to the garage to put my dirty pile of clothes in the washer. I soon went back to my room carrying the empty basket.
I opened my closet to see a dead dog. The exact same dog I saw as a background picture in my phone. The dog I have fallen in love with the first time I saw it, DEAD. I cried while thinking of the causes of her death. "Did I not feed her?", "Did I lock her in the closet to die?", "did I kill her?"
Actually, I don't remember...
*sighs* (and slowly says)
Oh no...What if I did those things to that poor little dog. I feel so guilty. Just thinking about those things make my heart explode.
I gently picked up the dead, soulless body and put it in the laundry basket. I carried the basket to the living room while grabbing a trash bag from the storage closet.
I felt happy the moment I saw it from my phone. Now I'm just stuck burying it, in my un-trimmed backyard, in a trash bag.
Tears fell from my face as I shoveled the last pile of dirt to cover the trash bag and the guilt of probably killing a puppy that I truly desired and loved.
I walked away in the rain carrying the basket. Then opened the door leading to the living room. I threw the plastic laundry basket in the trash, washed my hands, and put on gloves to continue cleaning my room.
I felt sad. Even though I don't remember anything. I knew that dog was special to me.
I continued cleaning up unknown objects and threw them in the trash.
Once my room was cleaned and all tidied up I continued looking around my house to see if there were any more stuff I needed to clean up.
I opened a guest bedroom and said under my breath "I swear if there is another dead body...". I saw a clean bedroom before I could finish my sentence. It felt so fresh. It was the cleanest out of my whole house. I walked over the closet nervously and opened the door. There was nothing, it was completely spotless.
I checked the room out and it looked like it was in tip top shape. I went out and closed the door.
I went to the bathroom and saw bottles of pills right next to the sink. I wondered if that was the cause of me passing out and forgetting everything. I read the pills and they said "cholinesterase" (memory loss/dementia medicine) , "Isuprel Ampul" (fainting medicine) , " Cephalosporins" (hallucinations medicine). I never knew I had these problems. I probably took too much of what they asked and passed out.
I put them in the medicine drawer one by one. I washed my face then got out of the bathroom.
*Ring Ring* I heard from the living room downstairs. I ran towards it and answered.
"Hi Hello" I said nervously while waiting for a voice.
"Hi Umm Elle Ross? I presume" was said with a calm ladies voice.
"Yes, that is she, why have you called me?" I said curiously.
"You have an appointment with your doctor Mrs. Ross. Your husband is here, keep this message confidential, We will be picking you up at 5:00 pm sharp, you better get ready soon. Goodbye."
"B-bye" I said shuddering in confusion.
*CLICK*
(Call ended)I came running into my room and grabbed my phone, checked it's battery percentage (100 %).
I looked at the time and it was 4:45. I only had a few minutes to get ready and find out what's happening. I quickly showered changed my clothes and put my shoes on. I tied my hair and looked at my self in the mirror and said "Whatever they're gonna do to you, you're not gonna know, just be ready for it"I checked the time and it was 4:58. I had nothing but my phone and walked outside. I waited for a minute or two until I saw a black van driving up close to my house. I checked my phone and they arrived exactly at 5:00.
I saw a woman roll down the passenger side window and said "come in" that sounded exactly like the voice I heard on the phone.
I went in the van and saw five people. There was 3 men and 2 women present. One man was driving the other were in the passenger seats and only one woman was by me in the back.
We drove off my house in silence...
