chapter four

Matt's POV:

It's time to meet my fans. I peek out of the window. There's more than JUST a line of fans waiting. "Excited, Matt?" Taylor asks me. "A bit." I tell him. "Why a bit? You're always excited." Taylor laughs. I shrug, showing an 'I don't know' expression. Taylor looks away. "The doors are opening." Aaron whispers to me. Wait, what? I look up. I see a line of fans forming. I'm kind of nervous, actually. I really care about Haley so much and I'm actually going to meet one of her worst bullies. I see a red-haired girl rush up to me. Okay, time for the fan interaction.

Haley's POV:

I draw, while listening to Never Be. It's one of my favorite songs. I'm drawing of how I imagine Luke Hemmings shirtless. I've never in my life seen a picture of him shirtless. I don't know anyone who has, actually. But I'm really desperate to see. I place my colored pencil down. I think after meeting Grace, I'm going to find my greatest friend in the neighborhood. I feel like asking Grace what school she's going to, but I don't want to make her feel uncomfortable or shy. She seemed shy. I wonder how Diane's doing with meeting Matt Espinosa, the viner I think.. Oh well, she's probably having fun. 

Diane's POV:

"Next." the manager looks at me in the eyes. I'm going to meet Matt Espinosa! I rush up to Matt. I give him a big hug. I look up to see his reaction. He's not smiling. He's not hugging me back. Oh, I'm probably too cute for him. I hate to say but he looks.. annoyed! "What's wrong babe?" I ask Matt. Matt groans. He stares at me. "Hi.." Matt says with a straight face. "I love you and this girl named Haley said you love her but nah, that's fake!" I tell Matt. "Huh?" Matt asks. "I love you." I tell Matt. "NEXT!" The security comes as I continue to hug Matt. "No. I'm staying here." I tell the security. I grab Matt's shirt, tugging it hard. The security blocks me. "Your time is up. Leave please." The security guard tells me. "Whatever. I LOVE YOU MATT!" I scream, and rush off. He sure loved me.

Matt's POV:

"I love you and this girl named Haley said you love her but nah. That's fake!" I tell Matt. Wait, what? "Huh?" I ask Diane. I really don't like where this is going. "I love you." Diane tells me. Diane starts to hug me, but not how a normal fan would. She's literally squeezing me. The security guard notices the commotion. "Next!" The security comes toward us. "No. I'm staying here." Diane tells the security guard. "Your time is up. Leave, please." the security guard responds to Diane. Diane lets go, but attempts to rip off part of my shirt. The security stopped her, thank god. "Whatever. I LOVE YOU MATT!" Diane screams and rushes out, jumping up and down. She was so rude and annoying. The next fan comes up to me. I give her a smile and a hug. "Hi Matt!" she tells me. "Hey." I reply. 

Haley's POV:

I go on Twitter, to check how many followers I gained, lost, and my total follower count.

16 Followers Gained

3 Followers Lost

Total: 12.8k followers.

I shrug. I really wish that I could meet one of my only friends, who's from the internet. He's actually my only friend. I'm not quite friends with Grace yet.

Matt's POV:

"So Matt, did you like it?" Dillon asks me. "I loved meeting all of my fans!" I lie. Except for one. I really want to meet Haley in person one day. I already love her. The event went great actually. After meeting my fans we got to dance and perform and make some jokes. I really liked it. I go on Twitter and DM Haley.

matt: yes.

matt: like WHOO?

haley: what do you mean.

matt: nvm.

matt: like you :)

haley: i feel the same way about you. i've always wanted to meet u irl.

matt: do you want to call me tomorrow? ill give u my number. 

haley: sure :) i'll give you mine too.

Haley's POV:

I got my internet best friend's number. This is so cool, having an internet friend! I've never experienced it before until now. I get a DM from Matt. "make sure to give me a call tomorrow afternoon :D "

I DM him back.

"why tomorrow and not tonight?"

I get a message back.

"we're driving to Nashville. the drive's gonna be crazy lol.

Is Matt like a secret sensation or something? He's going to all these places that I've always wanted to go to. Ha ha. I think he's friends with like someone famous and he went with him. That would be sick! I'm actually kind of anxious to call Matt tomorrow but I really want to.

Matt's POV:

"bye haley :)"

"Matt, I'm hungry are you?" Taylor nudges me. "Yeah." I reply. I feel the bus stop. I peek out of the window. We're at a restaurant. "Perfect." I tell myself. "Yeah, I'm starving." Aaron laughs. I whispered.. how did Aaron hear me? I realize Aaron's sitting next to me. Oh.

Matt's POV

I can't wait to call Matt. But I'm kind of scared. But everything will turn out great.
