"Bye guys!" I said as I saw all my friends going to their cars. "Bye Lani!" They all said. I watched them all leave and then made my way to the house. I walked to David's room only to see him cuddling something I thought it was his pillow since he always cuddles with it so I decided to jump on him as a wake up call. "WAKE UP LO-" I got cut off by some girl screaming. "WHO ARE YOU?" I looked down at the girl who had blonde hair. "um his sister? What else do I look like?" I sassed. She scoffed and I left. Seems like a bitch. I said in my head as I went to the closet and picked out an outfit.

I then went to the kitchen and made myself some cereal. I heard a door open and turned around. I saw the blonde girl leave and give David a peck on the lips. I scrunched my face up and turned back to my cereal. I heard David going back to his room and lay down, I rolled my eyes and went to put my bowl in the sink I walked to my room to get my back pack and my lunch box. "So am I walking?" I asked leaning on the door frame. "mhm." He groaned. "K bye dave." I walked over and hugged him. I left his room and walked out the door. I made sure I locked the door. I then began to walk to school, I went on my playlist and shuffled the music. Come out and play by Billie came on. I hummed to the song and danced a little, my dream is to make music and have it play on the radio or preform in front of people. I got closer to the school and saw my friends. I began to walk a little faster and sing along. In 5 minutes I reached the front of the school where my friends were, they all looked at me in sadness. "What happened?" I asked. "Um that happened." Juliet said pointing to Alex kissing a girl. I felt my heart break a little. "oh." I said. "Miss Dobrik? May you come to the office with me?" The vice principal asked me. "Oh um yeah." I followed her to the office and walked into the principal's room. "Hello Mr. Sanderson." I said smiling. "Hello, we have a new student today and you'll be showing him around." He said as he pointed to a boy with fluffy hair and blue eyes. I smiled at him. "Okay so I'll have you two go to the front office and Luca can get his schedule and you'll just show him around." Mr. Sanderson said. "Alrighty, I'll see you later Mr. Sanderson!" I said and left. It was a quiet walk to the front office which was extremely awkward. "Hi Mrs. Lin, may I have Luca's schedule?" I asked with a small smile. "Of course dear!" She printed a small paper and handed it to him. "Make sure you two come after the tour for a late pass." She smiled and we walked out. When we reached for the door I was about to open it but then Luca opened it before me. "Ladies first." He said and smiled. I smiled and thanked him "So where do you live?" I asked. "Oh I live on *INSERT RANDOM STREET*"He said smiling. "Oh I live close to there! I live like a block from there!" I said. "That's so cool!" He said. We walked to his locker so he can know where it is. I saw Alex and that girl kissing again and to be honest, it hurt a lot to see him with someone else after he kissed me. "Leilani? Are you there?" Luca asked. "Oh yeah sorry. Um lets show you your classes." I said and he handed me his schedule. "Oh.. you have three classes with me! You have P.E, math, and English!" I said smiling. "Yay!" He said. We walked around and I showed him all of the school and his classes. "Let's head to the office for our late slip. I'm sure it won't count for you." We walked to the office and got our slips and headed to class. TIME SKIP RIIIING the lunch for bell rang, in a matter of a few seconds, the halls were flooded by kids rushing to go to lunch. I was getting out of fourth period which is social studies. I went to my lunch table and saw that Luca was with a group of boys. "Oouu does Leilani like someone?" Juliet teased earning giggles from the girls. "Nooo..." I smiled and looked down. I began to eat my lunch and we talked about Alex and the girl. "So um who's the girl Alex is making out with?" I asked. "It's Katie!" Ashlyn said. "NO!" I gasped. "Yes!" She said. I took a quick glance at their table. "omg it is." I said. We all laughed and talked some more. TIME SKIP It was almost the end of the day and my last class was English which I had with Luca. "Hey Leilani" He said as he hugged me. "Heyy!" I smiled. "Ahh is this the new student? Luca right?" Mrs. Valerie said. "Correct Mrs." He said and winked at me. "May you come and introduce yourself to the class or are you not comfortable to do so?" She asked with a smile. "I will." He said and walked up in front. "Hey everyone, I'm Luca Schaefer-Charlton and I have 2 dogs, I just moved here, I play soccer, and...I love fortnite." He smiled and shrugged his shoulders. "Thank you Luca, you may now return to your seat." TIME SKIP It was now the end of the day and the halls flooded once again. I made my way to the front and I plugged my head phones into my phone and started listening to music. As I was singing along to my music I felt someone grab me from my waist and pick me up. "OH MY GOD!" I screamed out. The person put me down and I turned to see who it was. "Oh you scared me!" I laughed. "Sorry... will you forgive me?" Luca asked as he put out his bottom lip. "Of course." I said smiling at him. I put my ear buds away and held phone. "Hey you want a piggy back ride?" He asked. "Hmm..." I said and looked at the sky. "Why not?" I said and jumped onto his back. We talked and laughed half of the time then he got tired and put me down. We began to talk and laugh again till I saw Alex and Katie come our way. "Uhm can we cross the road please?" I asked. "Why?" He asked. "Be-" "Yeah Why?" Alex asked. "Don't talk to me Alex." I said grabbing Luca's hand. "Why Leilani? We're best friends!" He said. "I JUST DONT WANT YOU TO TALK ME!" I yelled. "Dude don't talk to her." Luca said. "Shut up loser." Katie said. "Leilani why don't you wanna talk to me? Is it because of Katie?" He said. I just ignored him. "Talk to me." He said as he pulled me into a hug. "DONT TOUCH ME! YOU KNOW WHY! YOU STOLE MY FIRST KISS! YOU KNEW I WANTED TO SAVE IT FOR A SPECIAL MOMENT! YOU SAID THINGS ABOUT HOW I WAS SPECIAL!" I said. "SO LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE PLEASE!" I said and grabbed luca's hand and crossed the street. "I-I'm Sorry Luca I'm not usually like that." I said wiping away a tear. "No no it's fine Leilani." He said pulling me into a hug. "Here I'll walk you home. You said your house is a block away right?" He asked and I nodded in response, we began to walk to my house. When we reached my house I gave him a hug. "Thanks for being nice and making me feel better. Even though I barely know you..you seem like a very good person." I said. "Aww thanks Leilani!" He said and hugged me tighter. "Bye Luca," I said and pulled away. I went into the house and slid down the door and smiled. I don't think anyone has ever made me feel happy like that?
