Lara's P.O.V:

"Hey Lara! What brings you here?" Stormie asked me as she opened the door to her house. Let me explain. I was invited over to my best friend Ryland's house since he wanted to hang out at the park for a while. "Ryland invited me over so we can go hang out at the park." I said smiling at her. "Okay, sweetie. Come on in." She said as she opened the door wider for me to go in. "He's upstairs in his and Ross' room." she said going into the kitchen. I went up the stairs and I was about to knock on the door when Ross came out. "He's in there gettin' fixed up for you." he said and winked at me. I was confused and was about to say something to him when the door opened a second time. "Oh! Hey, Lara!" he said as he hugged me tightly. I hugged him back also. "So what are we going to do while we are at the park Ry?" I asked him."We'll I thought we should have a picnic." He said. "Sounds good to me!" I said as I pulled him downstairs, and we went outside to head to the park a few blocks away. "Wait, where is the picnic basket?" I asked. "Oh, when Ross got out of the room he got the picnic basket that was in the kitchen and took it to the park so he can set up the picnic for us." he said. We got to the park after he said that. My attention was taken away by the things that were in front of me. I sat on the beautiful blanket that was probably made by Stormie. The blanket said "Best Friends Forever And Always Ryland + Lara", it was red with a the R5 symbol on the corners of the blanket. "I brought all your favorite foods." he said as he sat next to me. We ate all my top favorite five foods when we heard something. A rumbling sound, then I felt drops on me. It was raining. Since I was wearing shorts and a tank top I was getting soaked, but then I felt something warm wrap around me. Ryland put his jacket in me. We quickly picked up everything from the picnic and walked to his house. "I had a fun time Ry." I said as I stood in front of him at the front porch of his house. "I was hoping that you would." he said. It was silent for a few minutes. "Listen Lara, I think it's time for me to admit something the I've been keeping in for 6 months." he said. "What is it Ry?" I asked. "I'm not really good at explaining things, so I think I'll show you." he said looking down. "Ry, what do-" I was cut off by something warm crashing my lips. He was kissing me. I was shocked but then kissed back. We pulled away after a few more seconds. "I like you Lara. Ever since I laid my eyes on you at Starbucks, when I spilled your coffee all over you, I knew that you were the perfect one for me." he said looking me straight in the eyes. "I like you too Ryland." I said. He pulled me into a kiss again. "Will you be my girl Lara?" he asked. "I would love too!" I said. That my friends, was the day my best friend became my boyfriend, and the day that I got my first kiss in the rain with my boyfriend.

I'M SO SORRY THAT I TOOK LONG TO UPDATE THIS LARA! I hope you liked it though. Anyways, I saw my two best friends today named Ana and Rachel! I was so happy to see them after many months. Even though it was 2 months and a few weeks, it felt like eternity. I'm going to school next week on Tuesday. Yay me! *note the sarcasm* I have one class with Rachel. Also, I have two class with Ana. Plus as a bonus, I have both of them for my first period! Enough of my blabbering! How was your summer so far? Do you have any friends in your class? "Do you like your schedule? I hate my schedule 😑.
