I took a vow to death
And he's ready to check me
Im not opposed
Take my last breath like a breaking kiss
We are more than just the surface
And instant reactions
Every action subconsciously rehearsed
You can lie with your words
And convince yourself
Mentally
That things are as they seem
But a body can not lie
A system built on more than emotions
A system built on chemicals and cells
A system no one can lie through
We can attempt to hide
But out body's can not
Let what it pleases to commence
I am no war hero
And I will not try to be
Take me into your arms
And let me feel what I need
This last kiss
And fading light
It's all I need
So allow me to take the gift
That you have left for me
