Chapter 2

Your POV

You stood flabbergasted in the hallway as everyone crowded around you, Young Jae, and this mysterious boy. No one could believe it. Someone actually stood up to the one and only Young Jae.

What the actual hell! Who is this kid?! Why did he do this? For me? Someone he's never even met before? Why would he want to help a stranger?

All of these thoughts raced through your mind as you stood with your mouth hanging open wide in the midst of everything.

???: Hey, are you ok?

You: I-I uh...yeah. Thank you for doing that. Are you ok?!!! You really didn't have to.

???: Well that's good. And yeah I'm perfectly alright, its just a little blood and a small sprain, I suppose. And yes I did have to. If I hadn't of butted in, who knows what would've happened to you. You could've been worse off than you already are.

He notices all of the bruises that Young Jae has given you and suddenly he is taken aback.

???: Did he give you all of those?*he reaches out and brushes his thumb across your cheekbone*

You: Huh? Oh these? *you didn't know what to say as you had never told anyone about the abuse Young Jae delivered you; you nodded slowly with tears building up in your eyes*

???: Are you shitting me? Once he wakes back up I'm gonna beat his ass!

You: No no that's not necessary. It's really ok. You have no reason to anyway...you don't even know me and I don't know you...

???: Hi, my name is Jimin. There, now you know me.

You: I'm not sure that's how this works, but ok. Hi, my name is Y/N.

Jimin: Y/N...I like the way it sounds...it's really a beautiful name. It suits you.

You blush as Jimin compliments you and you cannot explain why. I mean sure, he just saved you from a lot of hurt, but you felt something different...even weird almost. Suddenly you and Jimin realized that there were still people crowded around the 3 of you.

Jimin: Maybe we should go somewhere else...

You: Yeah, that's probably a good idea.

Since Jimin is new and doesn't know his way around the school, you go to the only classroom that is always empty. You go in and shut the door, worried you might get caught skipping class.

You: So...thanks for that.

Jimin: It is really no problem at all. Was that asshole your boyfriend or something? Because if so, I'm not trying to be the relationship police, but you should definitely break it off. You deserve so much better than that piece of shit.

You: No...actually he is my ex-boyfriend as of yesterday. His name is Young Jae. I finally broke it off after about the 5th time he cheated on me. He abused me so much. That's where all these bruises are from. I was just tired of it.

Jimin: Wait, so you broke up with him? Now that makes sense. I was confused for a minute.*giggles* Sorry I'm not the best at catching on at times.

You: I still don't understand why you saved me...

Jimin: I don't really know either...there was just something about you...

You: Oh... *blushes hard*

Jimin: Awww your so cute when you blush! Wanna be friends?

You: *blushes even harder* Of course Jimin! What's your full name again? Oh and how old are you so I know what to call you?

Jimin: My full name is Park Jimin. I'm 18.

You: Ah I must call you Oppa. I'm 17. My full name is Song Y/N.

Jimin: Alright, Song Y/N. It was nice to make a new friend, but I don't wanna be too late on my first day of class. I'd better get going. Oh and before I go, here is my number! Text me later, ok?

You: I will Jimin oppa.

Jimin: Ok, see ya later!

OMG OMG OMG!!! He's so cute and sweet and caring. AND I HAVE HIS NUMBER! Is this really happening right now? Wow wow wow, who would've thought...me...Song Y/N getting a boy's number...a boy who is not Young Jae. Man he is really going to kill me...even though me and Jimin are only friends. But what if it develops into more? Will Young Jae hurt Jimin oppa? Now I'm kind of scared...Jimin oppa, why did you have to leave now?

Suddenly, a shadow appeared in the doorway of the classroom...and you knew exactly who it was. There was no Jimin oppa around to protect you this time either. You were officially dead.
