The girl that was broken

Chapter 2

I had not slept well due to the pain. I was just getting out of the shower and had put on my jeans and bra but was having difficulty get my shirt on when I heard a know at the door. I looked through the peephole and saw Elizabeth. I opened the door and she asked if I wanted to go inside or eat breakfast out here. I said smiling. let's go inside. She said smiling as we walked around the building you don't have to hide your bruises today because the only customers will be the bikers from my husband's club. I said ok. As we walked in I noticed the place was almost packed. The parking lot was full of bikes. As we entered it got quiet. Steve walked over and leaned down and kissed Elizabeth and then me on my forehead. Steve asked me, are you in pain? I said some but I will be fine. He smiled and I followed Elizabeth to the kitchen.  She said you can waitress if you want but I don't want you doing too much. I said fine I won't. 

I put in an apron and grabbed a pad and went to the first table to take their order.  One of the guys really scared me as he would not stop looking at me.  When I got to him he said taking a toothpick out of his mouth. What do I want how about a cup of coffee and you bent over the table. I jumped back as he grabbed my wrist trying to pull me to him. I whimpered in pain. I heard several growls and then Rage standing behind me saying let her go now.  The guy looked at rage his face turning white. Sorry man didn't know she was yours. Rage put his arm around me and gently turned me to the kitchen. He leaned down and said. Please go to the office with Elizabeth Steve has some business out here. we will come to get you when we're done. I looked at him and said ok. Thank you for making him let go of me. He scares me. Rage gently pushed me towards the kitchen. He watched until I was out of sight. 

After I saw her turn the corner I leaned down and punched the prospect in the jaw. I said. Don't you ever touch her. She is not a sweet butt. She is mine.  Steve then said church is called to order. Let me start with the woman you saw out here with Elizabeth. She is under Rage's protection. That means she is under this clubs protection. She doesn't know we're wolves yet so keep that on the low for a while. She is the new waitress and will be respected.  If anyone comes here looking for her you don't know anything. You will also report it to myself or Rage immediately. If you see anyone giving her a hard time you deal with them. As you saw she has bruises on her face and neck. She was beaten with a belt and has scars on her back, three busted ribs and two cracked ribs. She has been through hell.  As you know this club does not approve of women being treated this way. Now the floor is open for questions.  A prospect asked. Is anyone claiming her if not I will?  Rage stood up and said she is mine.  Man, we never get the good ones. Steve laughed and said. You will meet your mate this one happens to be Rage's mate. There were men saying hell, I won't mess with Rage that would be stupid. 

Rage then said. I want a prospect driving past the restaurant at night every 15 to 30 minutes. It has been reported that there has been trouble in town and since this restaurant is just outside of town we don't need any break-ins.  Steve said let's talk about the toy run for the kids to gather toys for Christmas. We also are having a run in three weeks to ride to the cabin's where we will have a family weekend and barbeque. The meeting went on for 20 minutes when they heard the door open up and two stranger walked in. One was Richard and another was a man who looked like a dealer. Steve asked what do you want? They said coffee something to eat and some information. The club members looked at them and Steve said to have a set over there. I will get my wife. He walked to the office and said. There are two strangers out front. Karen can you peek out and let me know if you know them.? I said yes. I followed him and looked. I started to shake. We walked back to the office and I said don't let him know I am here. He said which one hurt you? I said the one with the scare on his arm. The skinny one. Elizabeth can you take their order she walked out and took the order and Steve said stay here don't come out. 

Steve walked out with a hard look on his face. The guys knew they were trouble. Steve asked what information are you looking for?  Richard asked if they had seen a girl about 5' tall weighing about 98 pounds long dark brown hair. He said you are the only strangers we have seen in town. We haven't seen any women. Why are you looking for her?  Richard said. we had an argument and she took off. I am worried about her she has no family around here. You are not from around here either. Where are you from? He said Columbus, Ohio. Rage said. Why would you think that a woman would travel from Columbus to here by herself? That is a dangerous thing to do.  Richard said I heard her car was seen at this Resturant last night. Elizabeth spoke up and said. You heard wrong. I was working last night and no woman came in you can ask those four over there they were here until I closed. The guys looked at Richard and said she is right. No woman stopped here last night. Richard said it might have been when you were closed. If she did she must have stopped to get sleep and left before we opened up.
