Ashlynn's Story:

Walking into school, I keep my music up to ignore everyone else. Why did I have to go here again? Avoiding everyone, I go to my locker only to see the devil hound himself, smirking, waiting. Geez, he's a disgrace to boys. I hope he gets a taste of his own medicine.

"Hey Ash." my best friends Liana, Sasha, and Ellie say.

"Hey guys." I say while getting my books out to put them in my locker.

"Is he wanting to get his butt kicked by me?" Ellie asks. Laughing, I nod my head.

"Come on girls. I'm getting sick looking at the dog of the school." Ellie says.

Shutting my locker, I walk with the girls to first hour. Only two classes before lunch. Saying bye to the girls, I walk into my first hour and sit in the back. Pulling out my notebook, I copy down the notes. Being tapped on the shoulder I look up and see the last person I wanted to see in front of my desk.

"Yes Axel?" I say annoyed. Last thing I want is for him to talk to me.. Ugh.

"Hi cutie. How are you today?" Axel asks me trying to flirt with me. Rolling my eyes, I put my headphones back in and ignore him completely. Looking up ten minutes later, I realize he's gone. Relaxing, I focus on the teacher. Packing up, I met up with Sasha and go to second hour. After that class, I walk down to lunch with Sasha and see the other girls at the table laughing.

"Hey girls. Ready for lunch?" I ask the girls. Nodding, we all get up to go get lunch. Grabbing a cheesy, stringy, melty cheese pizza slice with a few sweet watermelon cubes and a ice cold strawberry lemonade, I pay for it and go back to the table. Ten minutes later, I hear someone yell "SHUT UP" as the whole cafeteria quiets down. Looking towards the front, I see the one and only Axel Johnson with a bouquet of flowers and a banner with music faintly playing. Flinching a little, I hear the microphone feedback shrieking into my ear like a banshee that you only hear about at Halloween from the really creepy guys.

"Can everyone quiet down please? Thank you. Now I have something very important to ask a certain girl, and I hope she'll say yes. Now, Ashlynn Parker I have a question to ask you. Will you be my girl and not let me ride solo to homecoming?" Axel asks me. Seeing all the eyes in the cafeteria stop and look at me, I'm going to give him an answer all right. Getting up, I walk towards him while being watched like a gazelle in a savanna full of lions.

"I have an answer for you alright." I say and smack him hard across the face which earned a unison of 'oohs' and 'he just got smacked by Ashlynns' from the crowd.

"I will never be your girl. I won't go to homecoming with you. I don't even like you. You're a jerk who hurts both girls and boys. You expect me to just fall at your feet because of this grand gesture. You got the wrong girl. Don't touch me. Don't talk to me. Don't even look at me again. Goodbye Axel Johnson." I say walking to the table where my stuff was and sat back down and act like nothing happened. After the last two classes, it's time to go home. Walking out to the parking lot, I see my car and the last person I wanted to see. Why does he keep bugging me? I don't like him, in anyway. If anything, I wouldn't go out with him if he was the last boy on earth. I would much die than be stuck alive with him.

"Can I help you?" I ask annoyed. This boy is getting on my last nerve.

"I want to take you out on a date. That's it. After that, you won't hear or see from me again. I promise." Axel says. Though it would be good to get this boy out of my life once and for all, I'm not gonna go on a pity date with him. Pushing him out of the way, I get in my car and put my bag in the passenger side.

"As much as I would like to get you out of my life, I'm not gonna go on some pity date with you to make it happen. So bye." I say and drive off.
