Andrew's Story:

Walking downstairs, my nose is filled with a savory scent of pancakes and sausage. Walking into the kitchen, I see Ashlynn over the stove still in her pajamas with her hair in a low ponytail. Smiling, I walk up behind her and hug her.

"Morning beautiful." I tell her in her ear making her blush.

"Morning. You hungry?" Ashlynn asks me. Nodding, I kiss her cheek and get out four plates and two coffee mugs and two glasses. Going over to the coffee maker, I grab a french vanilla latte coffee pod and put it in and pour in the hot water. Pressing start, I wait for it to brew. Looking over at Ashlynn, I see her dancing a little while making the sausage. Chuckling, I shake my head. How can she be so cute? After eating the mouth-watering breakfast and the steamy french vanilla latte coffee, I go upstairs and change into a grey Under Armour t-shirt, neon green Nike hoodie, dark blue jeans, a smart watch, and light gray Nike shoes. Grabbing my phone and my earbuds, I put them in the pocket of my hoodie and grab my black Adidas backpack and sling it over my shoulder. Going downstairs, I see Ashlynn in her hoodie with light blue skinny jeans and her hair in a french braid. Setting my bag on the couch, I go up behind her and hug her.

    "Hi beautiful." I say.

"Hi there." Ashlynn tells me. Can she be anymore adorable? Kissing her forehead, I walk into the kitchen and grab a couple of gatorades for me and Ashlynn. Going back out to the living room, I see Ashlynn shaking. Tossing the gatorades on the couch, I run up to her and hold in my arms. Keeping her in my arms, not caring that my hoodie is getting wet by the hot tears pouring down her face. Running my fingers through her hair, I try to calm her down.

"Ashlynn what's wrong?" I ask her while holding her in my arms.

"I remember... I remember everything..." Ashlynn tells me while crying harder. Remember? Remember what? Oh that remember. Holding Ashlynn tighter to me, I pick her up and take her to the couch and sit with her in my arms. We're not going to school today. She wouldn't be able to handle it. After calming Ashlynn down and making sure her breathing is steadied out, I lay her down on the couch and cover her up. Kissing her forehead, I grab our bags and pick them up and walk upstairs. Going to her brother's room, I knock and tell him that me and Ashlynn aren't going to school today. Giving her brother her bag, Tristan says he'll get the homework we'll end up missing. Nodding, I go to my room and put my bag down by the door after putting the gatorades back in the fridge to keep them ice cold for the next day. Going back downstairs after saying bye to Tristan and Liana, I go to Ashlynn and lay next to her after turning her towards me so she can use my chest as a warm pillow. I kiss her forehead and tell her I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere. Pushing some of her hair out of her face, I'm mesmerized by how even after crying nonstop, she still looks like an angel. Kissing her forehead one last time, I lay my head on top of hers and let the sleep that has been tearing at me to get out wash over me.

~4 and ½ hours later~

Waking up after a 4 and ½ hour nap, I look down at Ashlynn and see her still asleep. Sweet little angel, I can't believe she's been through all the pain that she has. She doesn't deserve the pain. She's sweet and innocent. I'll never understand why Axel tried to take her away, but what I do know is because of him, she'll be more scared than ever before. Usually i'm not one to say that I'm glad someone's dead, but I'm sure as hell glad he's dead. Looking up, I let my mind drift away into dreamland.

Ashlynn's Story:

Waking up, I look and see Andrew staring off into space. Smiling, I bury my face deeper into his chest and tickle his sides which seems to snap him out of it because next thing I know he's laughing nonstop.
