I sit down and I look around the room. " What are you looking at ". I quickly look back at Alex. " your room obviously ". I look out the window and notice how close it is to my house. I then realize how it was directly across from my room. " oh no. You have to be kidding me ". From the corner of my eye I see Alex come stand next to me. " What's wrong feisty ". I turn to look at him. " First don't call that and second I'm realizing that your room is directly across from mine ". Alex smirks. " That's good news ! You basically should join my group now since you obviously can't get away from me ". I roll my eyes and stand up to go leave but I end up tripping. I was waiting to hit the ground but I don't. I turn to look at Alex who is now only a couple ones away from me. " T-thanks ". My face turns a little red and I quickly back away from him. " I'm going to go back down ". I face towards the ground not wanting to show him my face. " Ok, I'll come with ". I walk back to my mom and Darcy. " Hey Mom me and Jessica are back ". I finally look up only to have my mom an Darcy look at me a little worried. " Are you ok dear ? You a little red ". I show a small smile. " Yes. I'm just not feeling that well ". I laugh nervously knowing Alex is probably finding this hilarious. " I think all take her home mom. She tripped on the way out here. You guys can continue to talk ". My mom smiles. " Thank you Alex you seem like a kind boy ". Alex comes and stands next to me. " It's no problem Karen. Let's go Jessica ". He grands my hand and we walk to my house. " Why are you walking me to my house ". He lets go of my hand. " I don't know what you think of me Jessica but I'm not rude. You mainly saw me on a bad day ". I take a deep breath. " Maybe. But you were incredibly rude to me and I saw you bullying freshman. I've been bullied a lot in the past. As you can tell I'm not skinny and perfect like the girls at school ". We reach my house and I stop in front of the door. " But if you prove that your not rude like what I saw at school today ". I pause for a second. " I'll think about joining your group ". He smiles. " Bye Alex ". I open my door and close it. I then run to my room and sit down on my bed. " What am I doing. Could he really be nice ? ".
