{ End Of School }

I put my stuff inside my locker and head outside. When I get outside I'm immediately pulled to the side of the school. " Hey let go ! What are "you doing ". I look to see who it is. " What do you want Alex ! I need to get home ". He laughs as two more guys walk over to us. " Feisty, we need to have a conversation ". I roll my eyes and shake his hand off my wrist. " Don't call me that and no we don't ". I start to walk away but the two guys stop me. " Where you going ? He just wants to talk ". I turn around to face Alex . " Fine. 5 minutes that's all you got ". He smirks. " Good. Let me make this simple. I want you to join my group of friends ". I roll my eyes. " No, I'm not about to join your group. You guys go around bullying people and acting like you own the school ! ". His friends laugh as I walk away. Before I reach the front of the school I hear Alex shout " You will join my group sooner or later ! ". I roll my eyes and walk home.

{ At Jessica's house }

" Mom I'm home ! ". I set my backpack down as my mom comes waking over. " Go get out of your uniform and clean yourself up. We're going to go meet our new neighbors ". I take my shoes off. " Sure. I'll be ready in like 10 minutes ". I head to my room. I immediately change into a white shirt, ripped jeans, a flannel around my waist and a black beanie. ( She basically wears skater type outfits ) After I'm done I head back downstairs to see my mom at the front door. " Took you forever ". I roll my eyes. " Whatever lets just go ". She opens the door and walks out. I follow right behind her. When we get there she knocks on the door and a lay about my moms age opens the door. " Hi, me and my daughter wanted to introduce ourselves. We just moved in next door ". The woman gestures for us to come in. We walk inside and sit down on the couch. " It's nice of you guys to come introduce yourself. Let me go get my son ". The woman walks upstairs and comes down a couple of minutes later and following right behind her is the one person I would never imagine. Alex. His eyes meet mine and he smirks. I immediately look away as him and his mom sit down. " This is my son Alex and I'm Darcy ". My mom gestures towards me. " This is my daughter Jessica and I'm Karen ". I smile. " it's nice to meet you Darcy ". I look over at Alex who's staring at me. " What grade are you in Jessica ? My son is in 11th grade ". I smile. " I'm in the same grade as him. I believe I sit next to him in my math class ". She smiles . " You guys should become friends ! ". I hear Alex laugh. " That would be nice he says ". I glare at him but quickly turn my attention to Darcy. " Why don't you show Jessica your room Alex while I get to know her mother ". I turn to look at him and we make eye contact. My expression says no but of course being Alex he replies with. " That would be fine with me. Come on Jessica ". I roll my eyes and follow him. When we get out of sight he grabs my wrist and pulls me into his room. " Let go ! ". I try to shake his hand off my wrist but he's to strong. " Stop it ! That hurts ". I notice that he immediately let's go and almost looks sorry. He sits down on his bed and points to a chair near the desk. " Take a seat ".
