"Oh my god, you have a dog?!"

Hyunjin quickly backs away and turns his head to look at his dog that comes into the room. 'Kkami I love you but why?' Hyunjin thinks.
It's silent for a moment before I get up from the couch and make my way towards the dog that starts wagging it's tail.

After playing with the dog for a long time we both make our way to the kitchen to make more food, knowing that our choices are very limited due to the blackout.
"Is it worrying that we're making food after eating a shit ton two hours ago?" Hyunjin asks.
"Yes, I'm pretty sure it is. Will it stop us?"
"No." We fist bump and continue cooking.

After a few minutes I realized that I've been scratching my arms for a while and my throat was closing up.
"Do you have medicine for allergies." I look up at Hyunjin who furrows his eyebrows without looking at me. "I'll go check."

He comes back with the medicine shaking his as he gives me the box. I take the medicine and he speaks up. "You're quite stupid you know that, right? Why would you play with a dog knowing damn well that you're allergic." I shrug my shoulders and answer, "if I see something cute I can't control myself even if it's deadly to me." I hear the tall boy chuckle quietly before turning off the stove. I put down the box with the medicine and go to set up the table.

We eat in peace and silence with the occasional muttering of words. "What are you doing for New Years?" I quickly swallow my food before setting down my chopsticks. "Felix is throwing a party with a bunch of people from school and he asked me to help him. So I'll be there. And you?"
He smiles discreetly while I look down at my food waiting for his answer.
"I'm also going there. I guess we'll see each other. Do you know who else is going?"
I nod and give him the list of people that are sure to come but also telling him that there will be a lot more.
We finish eating and I start taking the dishes to the sink to wash them because the dishwasher doesn't work. Hyunjin follows after me and joins me.
'Its weird that were so civil with each other when we hated each other two months ago.'
Unknowingly, I look up at Hyunjin, still deep in thought when he interrupts my thoughts. 
"Why are you looking at me like that?" He looks back at me weirdly as I blink and my eyes widen "Oh sorry i was thinking about something." I laugh awkwardly before shaking my head and wash my hands.

"What were you thinking about~~" I whip my head to look at him in disgust.
"What did I just hear? Don't talk like that please." I cringe and laugh as he continues to talk in aegyo. I playfully push him but he grabs my wrist preventing me to do so. I pause and look up, impressed. "Nice reflex skills."
"Thank you, thank you." He laughs as he lets go of me.

I check the time on my phone to see that it's already quite late.
"You can sleep in my bed and I'll sleep on the couch." Hyunjin suggests but I quickly shake my head. "No you sleep in your own bed and I'll sleep on the couch."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"Yes."
"No."
"Aha there! So sleep in my room." I blink once before narrowing my eyes and pointing at him accusingly.
"You tricked me! Wow I can't believe that I fell for that." He just continuously laughs before guiding me to his room. I follow him, not pleased. We enter the room and I thank him by bowing. He sits on his bed while I sit on the chair next to his desk, bringing my knees to my chest.
All of the lights are off and it's just the two of us in the dark.

"Soomi." I hum as an answer.
"What is your dream?" I look away from the window and back at him, surprised by the sudden question.
"I don't really know exactly. I just know that I want to study art and be able to do what I love. What about you, Hyunjin?"
"Please don't make fun of me." I hear the unsureness in his voice but I frown.
"Why would I make fun of you? Maybe you got the wrong first impression of me when we first met but I'm not like that."
He takes a deep breath. "I want to be a star. And before you say anything, I want to rap and be able to deliver messages through out music. I want people to listen to the music and understand the message as well as liking the melody."
"Hyunjin- thats so nice. That's such a nice dream. I really hope that you'll be able to achieve that. I'll be your number one fan." I smile as I think about Hyunjin being on stage doing what he loves. "I'm sure people will love you."
But Hyunjin was still looking down, unsure. I get up from my seat and walk over to him. I grab hold of one of his hands with both of mine and squeeze reassuringly.
"Hyunjin, you don't need to feel ashamed or embarrassed, what you want to do is amazing. And it's your choice which is even better. I understand how you feel. My parents want me to follow after them, but I have no interest in their job."

"Thank you." He's still looking down but after a moment he looks up at me from where he's sitting before he stands up. He wraps an arm around my head bringing me closer to him as he hugs me. Surprised, I can't bring myself to move. But I slowly wrap my own arms around him and we stay there for a long time. Slowly, I back away and we just stand there looking at each other.

"Hyunjin-"

He puts his hands on my neck and slowly begins to come closer and I can feel myself do the same. We hesitate for a mere second before I feel his lips on mine.
He's gentle, as if scared to break me. I clutch his hoodie in my hands. He slightly tilts my head and it feels like forever before we pull away. We stand there, confused as to what just happened. I subconsciously touch my lips.
"I'm sorry." Hyunjin says before kissing me again.

I'm ranting but it's because I'm in a good mood! I bought myself a special calligraphy pen so that's exciting. I want to draw so I'll do that today I think.
