I wake up early to get ready for school. We are reaching the end of our school year.

I look at the text before checking the time. Okay I have 30 minutes.

After getting ready, I make my way downstairs and start eating breakfast. It's quiet because my parents are already gone. But the chirping of the birds makes me feel a bit better.

I make my way outside when I get a message from Felix telling me that he's here. I run out after locking my door.

"Did you sleep well?" I ask him but cringe after seeing his eye bags. "I guess not."
"You dont understand how much I'm stressing out." I frown in confusion.
"What do you mean?"
"I'm preparing to audition for JYP Ent." He turns his head towards me before quickly turning back to face the road.
"What? So you finally decided to audition? Dude, yes!" I slap his arm playfully. A big smile on my face. I know that Felix wants to become an idol but he's too scared because his korean isn't perfect. But it's still really good.

The whole ride was spent talking about his upcoming audition. And soon we arrive at school. I get out of the car and wait for Felix to enter and make our way to our classes.

The day goes by quickly and I'm now in my last class. I share it with a few of my friends, including a certain tall, dark eyed boy.

"Psst, Soomi." I raise my head, looking up from my notes to see Hyunjin calling me.
"Hmm?"
"Wait for me after class I'll walk you home." I nod slowly before smiling shyly and looking back at my notes.

The bell finally rings and I leave the stuffy classroom before stopping, as I remember about Hyunjin's words.
Hyunjin runs out of the class but stops when he sees me. He smiles as he walks over to me.
"Let's go?"
I nod then he links his arm to mine. A small blush spreads throughout my cheeks. A few girls look at me badly. I roll my eyes internally at them.

We joke as we walk. We pass different shops and end up buying candy from some old shop.

"Hey listen Soomi. I like you. I really do and I want to be your boyfriend." I look up at him in surprise.
"But....?"
"But school is ending soon and we will surely go our separate ways." I agree with him, sadly.
"The days are going by way too fast and I don't know how I feel about that." I feel Hyunjin's hand go down from my arm to my hand as he slowly runs his thumb over my hand.
"Listen, lets promise each other to keep in touch and let's see each other. When we can." He smiles softly at me and subconsciously I do the same.

"But this doesn't mean that we should stop being together now. We still have about 2 months."

"That's not much." I reply but immediately regret it, thinking about how clingy I sound.
"I mean yeah 2 months is fine." Hyunjin just laughs at my words. He wraps his arm around my shoulder, pulling me close, instantly making me warmer.

We continue walking, pretending that we will still be 'together' for a long time.

Once we reach my home, we talk for a bit before i see that he's shivering.
"Do you want to come inside?" I gesture towards my house. He shakes his head as he Answers "no it's fine, I have to be home."
"Oh okay. Well get home safe." I squeeze his hand gently. He nods.
He suddenly comes closer . We look at each other and this is when I realize how much I actually appreciate him. Before he can do the next step, I go on my tippy toes and press my lips against his. I feel him smile against my lips. Be wraps his arms around my waist. He hugs me and I blush furiously when he softly kisses the crook of my neck.
He stands up straight, a slight tint of pink on his cheeks before pecking my cheek and leaving.

I enter the house, full of glee. Two seconds later, I start squealing and slightly jumping around, not knowing that Hyunjin is doing the same.

Not too long after, I get an answer from the boy.

I chuckle at his answer and put my phone away to start doing homework. But struggling, thinking about a certain boy.

I go to bed also thinking about Hyunjin. But my smile turns into a frown as I think about what's going to happen once we graduate. I might never see him again.

I don't want that to happen.
