You were sitting in the car and driving to Tromsø, Norway, together with your parents. You were listening to music, using earphones so that you didn't interrupt anyone, but still, you were rather bored. That was supposed to be a family trip, but honestly, you hated days like that from the bottom of your heart. You would rather go for a drink and some chit-chat with your friends or just stay at home in your absolute favorite place on Earth - your warm comfy bed where you could rest in peace and quiet, in a safe comfort zone of your blanket.

The truth was that whenever you went somewhere with your family, you always either came to an argument or it was simply too boring. It seemed as if something always had to come across.

A day before your parents told you that you were going to stay in Tromsø for two weeks. Two freaking weeks! Two weeks of wasting your life again. Yay! After so much pain and way too many struggles, school was finally over and you reached the well-deserved summer break so it was time to relax. So of course you didn't like your parents' idea.

As soon as your mom mentioned the idea you started to oppose. You didn't have any intentions of giving up so easily. "Mum, do I really have to do this? I planned that my friends and I are going to the cinema next week."

If you thought your crying and begging would help, you were left in disappointment. It didn't.

"Of course you have to," she replied, annoyance present in her voice. "Don't you remember? We made a deal at the beginning of the school year."

Wait, what? You totally forgot. All you could think about were your school grades and learning for paper tests, exams and tons of other school-related bullshit. That was impossible. But anyway, you didn't have a choice, so you lazily packed your things, after hours of whining finally said goodbye to your friends and the next day it was time to go.

Finally, after hours of driving, you arrived and accommodated in a small hotel. As you had to get up pretty early in the morning and you strongly disliked sleeping in the car, you were a bit tired. Therefore, while the others were unpacking their stuff, you decided to go outside and look around a little bit. It was sunny and warm (considering the fact that you were in the north of Norway) and nature was beautiful. All in all, it was just the right weather to go for a jog. I put on your Nike sneakers, took your phone together with earphones and shouted to the others, "I'm just going for a jog, okay?"

After a brief moment of silence, you heard mom shouting back from the kitchen, "Okay, but come back soon."

You rolled your eyes and finally stepped through the door into a good hour of freedom. There was a dusty narrow path behind the hotel and it was the just the right place to go for a walk or a jog. After a while, you arrived at a beautiful large lake. It was late in the morning, but still, there wasn't a lot of people, just a few other runners or cyclists. You followed the track that now turned to the right and probably led all the way around the lake. Amazed by the nature you slowly zoned out, not being so concentrated anymore and just looking around in confusion, so you didn't see a guy coming over the way and almost bumped into him.

"Oh, my god, I'm so sorry," you apologized, still not fully aware of what has just happened. "You know, I wasn't paying attention and..."

"It's okay," he interrupted you, nervously fixing a baseball hat on his head. "The funny thing is that it also happened to me a few times."

"I hope I didn't hurt you or anything," you kept apologizing, his presence now making you a bit uncomfortable. "I can be so clumsy sometimes," you added, reaching for the phone in your pocket any finally stopping the music.

"Of course not," he reassured you and gave you a bright smile followed by a quick wink. "Look, I really have to go now," he continued, "we have a training camp here and I'm in the middle of something, so ... Anyway, I really hope we'll see each other again."

"Oh, I didn't know that," you replied as he really surprised you with his statement. "And yeah, me too. Have a good time at the training camp," you added, taking a step back.

"Same to you," he replied and turned around right after, ready to continue his way.

After that, you felt a little weird. First of all, how could you not notice him? He was tall and muscular (he was definitely an athlete), with brown eyes and his smile... Wait a second! No way! Did you really have a thing for him? You thought it was impossible because, well, let's be real, you barely even knew him, not to mention the fact that you didn't even know his name. But still, after that day, he remained stuck in your head and no matter what you did, you couldn't stop thinking about him.
