FLASHBACK!

It was one thing to claim that the same boy who occasionally dropped where the two Chuunin did their gate-duty to provide them some ramen after a long day of work with a big grin may have been talking to the demon fox who attacked Konoha, but it was another thing to insult the Yondaime Hokage's, Namikaze Minato's ability in Fuuinjutsu and say it may be faulty.

Ibiki sighed, "I'm just keeping the options open. You never know what may happen to the kid, with a childhood like his, and a fragile mental state like his, anything could happen, we are just lucky that the Kyuubi hasn't broken through the seal and gone on another rampage. Don't get all defensive."

Kotetsu and Izumo looked slightly sheepish, "Uh, yeah."

Just when Ibiki was about to make another comment, the glass from the window shattered loudly and smashed all over the ground, revealing a dark purple haired woman who wore a trench coat with a skirt and a mesh shirt which barely hid anything. She stood with a giant grin on her face and a flag behind her which said '#1 Sexy Proctor: Mitarashi Anko!'

"I'm Mitarashi Anko! You're proctor for the second exam! Nice to meet you brats!"

END FLASHBACK!

The Jinchuuriki Alliance (Naruto Fanfic) Chapter 16 - The Second Exam

The Genin stood in a field outside Training Ground 44, dubbed the 'Forest of Death.' Anko, the creepy proctor who kind of made Sasuke cringe, explained all of the rules already to them.

Each Genin team had one scroll, either a Earth scroll or a Heaven scroll. By the end of the five days, the teams that pass were only the teams that have collected the other scroll, as well as keep their own safe. They must not open the scroll either.

Team 7 had an Earth scroll, they had to get a Heaven scroll by the end of the 5 day limit.

Naruto's eyes flitted around the field where people were busy signing the waivers which mean that Konoha would not be held responsible for any deaths or casualties. A reasonable reason to be honest. Naruto sighed and thought to himself.

'10 teams. Only 5 would be able to pass because of the number of scrolls. But...' Naruto bit his lip, understanding that some of Konoha's teams would have to be somehow unable to pass this exam.

"What are you thinking about?" Naruto heard a familiar monotone voice from behind him, he turned and faced Gaara and Fuu.

Naruto looked around them and motioned for them to follow him, they did. Naruto stopped at a slightly secluded area where no Genin were.

Naruto started to explain. "There are 10 teams at the moment, because of the amount of scrolls we retrieve, only 5 teams would be able to pass. We need the Kiri team, because Yagura and Utakata have to be here legally since he is a Kage." He paused and thought for a bit.

"Continue." Gaara raised a non-existent eyebrow.

Naruto nodded. "We need the Kumo team, since Yugito and Killer Bee are under protection of the Raikage and also need to be here legally. We obviously need Fuu's team because if she doesn't go through she has to go home. Also, we need Gaara's team for the same reason." He finished.
