Two years later~

Third P.O.V.~

After dinner, Mikoto was cleaning the dishes, humming when Itami stumbled towards her mother. Tripping over her own two feet, she lightly collided into her mother's leg, letting out an 'oomph!'

"Be careful Itami." Mikoto stared lovingly down at her daughter who smiled back up, placing a hand against her mother's stomach.

"Kaa-san, Kaa-san! Guess what guess what!" Itami exclaimed, lightly tugging on her mother's dress.

"Yes Ita-chan?" Mikoto hummed.

"You have life in you!"

Mikoto nearly dropped a plate and she looked down at her daughter's innocent bright face.

"...well of course I have life in me. I'm alive sweetie." The mother stated, wondering if her daughter knew what she was saying.

"No Kaa-san, I meant your tummy. There's life there." Itami insisted, grabbing her mother's hand and placing it against her womb. "Don't you feel it?"

Mikoto went silent as she reached her senses out. Nothing. She couldn't feel anything.

"Itami are you sure? I don't feel anything." She looked down at Itami who nodded vigorously.

"Hai hai! It's my younger brother! I'm gonna be a big sister, I'm gonna be a big sister!" She danced around in the kitchen, almost falling on her face.

"...why don't you let Kaa-san finish up the dishes and I'll tuck you in for bed?" Mikoto smiled warmly and Itami abruptly stopped before her eyes shined, staring at her mother.

"Hai hai Kaa-san! Book book book, reading is fun~" She hummed, skipping towards her room, again nearly falling on her face.

Mikoto pulled her husband to the side, lowering her tone.

"Itami says that I have life in me. Does that mean...?" She started and Fugaku thought over it.

"...our daughter is very extraordinary. Perhaps you are, it won't hurt to check if you miss your..." Fugaku trailer off, coughing at the end. Yes, the great Fugaku Uchiha, leader of the stoic Uchiha clan cannot say that.

"I got it. It should be nearing." Mikoto smiled, thinking back to what Itami said two years ago. "She says it'll be a boy."

"Really now?" Fugaku raised an eyebrow, marveling at his daughter's talents.

"We'll just have to wait and see."

A few weeks later~

Mikoto bit her lip as she walked towards the doctor's office. She was late, and now she was wondering if her daughter was psychic or something.

"Name?" The secretary asked when Mikoto stepped through the doors.

"Mikoto."

"Ah, Uchiha-sama. Third door to the right."

"Arigatou."

Mikoto walked to the said room, each step seemingly to slow down and resonate around the room. Taking a deep breath, she entered the room.

"Kaito? I'm late..."

Few hours later~

Mikoto was shooketh. She sat on the couch at home, thinking back to what the doctor said.

Flashback no Jutsu~

"I see. Let me check." Kaito gestured for her to sit down in which she gladly did so. A glowing green hand was placed against her stomach as the doctor concentrated.

"...congratulations Mikoto-sama." He smiled warmly at her, retracting his hand. Mikoto's eyes widened.

"That means...!"

"Why yes, it means that your household is about to get a bit more livelier and loud."

Flashback Kai~

"Tadaima." Fugaku called out, instantly tackled by his two year old daughter. "Ohayo, Itami."

"Okaerinasai! Ohayo Tou-san!" She exclaimed, hugging her father around the waist.

"Mikoto?" Fugaku noticed his wife sitting on the couch, picking Itami up and onto his shoulders. "What's wrong?"

"I was late...Ita-chan was right." She whispered and Itami's eyes brightened up, throwing her hands up.

"Yatta! I'm gonna be a big sister! Yay yay yay!" She squealed, clapping her hands.

Mikoto looked up, shock still written over her face but managed a smile.

"Yes Ita-chan, you're gonna be a big sister." She softly said and Itami quieted down.

"...Kaa-san. I don't wanna trouble you or worry you or scare you. So I will tell you." She started and Mikoto looked up, slightly confused.

"Nani?"

"Kaa-san, Tou-san. I think I'm hypersensitive." Itami informed, staring at her hands. Fugaku furrowed his brows, plucking Itami off his shoulders and onto the couch, sitting next to his beloved wife.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, whenever I'm reading a book, I can tell where something will be. Like I'm reading and there's a desk in front of me, I can sense it and easily avoid it." She explained, staring at her hands before clenching them. "Am I a monster?"

Mikoto was instantly by her daughter's side, Fugaku joining in.

"Oh my sweet little lotus. Of course not, Kaa-san was just surprised! Ita-chan is very special." She whispered, kissing her daughter on the forehead before booping her nose.

"You're just a special one. Our special little lotus." Fugaku murmured, agreeing with his wife. Itami felt tears form in her eyes and she smiled through it.

"Hai!"

Yahyeet I'm done. So basically, cameo I shamelessly used Tater's OC from our Untitled - BNHA fanfic as Mikoto'a doctor -~-
