PoV: Jimin

In the middle of the night I start hearing weird noises coming from the room Nine sleeps in. As I realize that those are whining sounds, I jump off the couch and head to the bedroom, throw opening the door.

"What's wrong??"

He... isn't even awake.

Turns out he's having a nightmare.
He's twitching and moving on the bed, crying in desperation.

I sit down next to him and try to wake him up, or at least to calm him down.

"Hey it's just a dream, Nine." I say, grabbing his shoulders to keep him in place, caressing his cheek afterwards.

His panic goes away and he becomes more quiet.

"Shhhh its alright, it was just a bad dream.." I speak softly.

Nine suddenly wakes up and opens his eyes.
At first he's confused and doesn't say a thing, so I talk to him first.

"Are you okay? Was it that scary?" I ask him.

He then sits up and moves away from me, his body trembling.
"I'm sorry"

"What..? No, are you okay? You don't have to apologize" I say a little irritated.

He shakes his head and starts crying.

"C-Calm down, hey, -tell me what's wrong, Nine?"

Trying to avoid making him even more uncomfortable, I get closer to him and pull him carefully into my arms.
He hesitates at first, but leans against me soon.

"I'm sorry, Jimin" He cries.

"What are you sorry for? It's alright, so stop crying please"

The boy just keeps crying as he embraces me too, finding some comfort in my touch.

It's disappointing that he's having nightmares again. He told me a while ago that he used to always have nightmares, but they stopped coming back when he started living here..
Maybe this is just a one time thing. We all have nightmares every now and then.

"I'm... I must be so a-annoying.. I feel so bad, I'm sorry" He sobs.

"No, no you're not. Don't believe such things. You're not annoying at all, I'm glad to have you around, really."

Again he just shakes his head and continues to cry.

How am I supposed to make him feel better? He keeps talking himself bad..

.
.

"Jimin, I feel so weird" Nine whispers after calming down a little, but still holding onto me.

"How? Do you feel uncomfortable? Does something hurt?" I ask concerned.

"No, I don't know. Just weird" He sniffs.

I sigh and pull gently away from him.

"Are you better now? Do you think you can sleep again? It's still around 3am in the morning."

He nods unsure.
"Mh.. I don't... I don't want to be alone" He mutters.

"Do you want me to stay with you? I wouldn't mind." I suggest with a light smile.

"If you really don't mind..."

Relieved he leans back and waits for me to lie down next to.

I stay close by his side, but not too close to give him enough private space, and pull the blanket over our bodies.
