i'm not the only one who's been binge-playing BTS World, right..?

PoV: Jimin
After getting the keyboard out of the attic, I began working on fixing it. And surprisingly the damage was tiny. There was just a loose connection I was able to tighten with some tape.

I push the power button and start checking if the keys work.
During this process Nine keeps watching my every movement, fascinated by the existence of the keyboard.

"Wow, it's just like in my dreams" He smiles happily as he sits down next to me.

"Well it's... Oh-"
Oh no, looks like two notes are not working. The deepest C and C# are not responding when I press them.

"Looks like these two are not working" I sigh.

". Is that very bad?"

"....Actually, it's not!" I say enthusiastic, forcing Nine to switch places with me.
"Since they're just the very deep ones, they're not that important! Just focus on the middle ones!"

"H-Huh??"

"Play! You want to play it, right?"

"Me? Now? I-I don't.."
Suddenly he becomes extremely shy.
"I don't think I can.."

I laugh and pat his shoulder.
"Don't stress yourself. Just practice a little. Press some random keys." I say encouraging and smile.

He gives me a helpless look before he looks back at the piano.

He's nervous for no reason.
So cute.

The boy then raises his right hand, slowly placing one finger on one of the keys.

A quiet F-note sound.

Nine tries more notes, pressing them in a random order.
He adds his left hand, still pressing keys out of context.

It sounds like a child who plays the keyboard for the first time. But I guess that's just his way of getting to know the instrument.

Nine stops and sighs.
"It sounds so..."

"Old?" I chuckle.

"No It sounds nice. I like it a lot."

"You think so? Wait until you hear a real piano. Those sound insane!"

Nine smiles and nods.
"Considering the keys are all black and white, the keyboard sounds so colorful."

"Y-Yeah, you are right. It's amazing" I say impressed by his words.

Nine then takes a short breath before he goes back to playing it.

But this time its different.

The random notes suddenly turn into a melody.
A beautiful, familiar melody.

His arms become relaxed, his back maintains a little curved while his fingers glide over the keys.

What's going on??

This song..
As the notes keep hitting my ears, I become fixated on the beauty of his fingers dancing on those plastic keys.

His expression's so serious, focused but also calm. With each slight nod of his head his spirit becomes almost an aura.

And suddenly the song is over as quickly as it had begon.

We sit in silence, Nine staring at the keyboard, me staring at Nine.

"...Nine... What, what was that..?" I finally ask.

"Oh, ! Sorry I kind of went off there.." He blushes embarrassed.
