Chapter 6 // another world

The day i had with brad Mia and the rest of the boys was amazing! After the cafe we all went to a restaurant and i sat next to brad.

While we waited for our food to come we all talked in a group and brad reached for my hand under the table and intwined our fingers, lacing them together and we both smirked at each other, it was fun because it was like sneaking around bc no body knew what we was up too (I'm making it sound like they're hooking up, but it isn't meant to sound like that )

When the food arrived, connor being the idiot he is dropped his fork under the table, he bent down to grab it and me and brad quickly pulled our fingers apart, banging our hands on the table in the process

We both winced in pain as everyone looked at us laughing, connor stared at us and gave us a look as if to say 'i saw that' causing our cheeks to turn Scarlett, after that connor kept shooting odd glances at us, we were too traumatised or scared to get caught to do it again but we brushed hands every so often and exchanged smiles.

After the restaurant it was like 7 o'clock so we all decided to go back to the hotel for a while, the boys asked if me and Mia wanted to stay in a hotel room next to theres but we decided to stay at home because it was our first time meeting them and we didnt want to seem to clingy.

Normally if we had an oppurtunity like this with the boys we would of taken it straight away, but this was different..

Brad offered to drive me and Mia back to my house (after a few hours watching a film and playing 20 questions) which was were we were staying the night, but he cant drive so he basically forced Tris instead

I said goodbye to the james and con because they wouldn't fit in the car and hugged them both before following the others out the door

'Ive had a really good day' tris said to us

There was a mixture of 'me too' s and 'yeah's

'When should we meet up again' i asked

'Who said we wanted too' brad said, you could see him smirking in the dark

I punched him lightly on the arm

'You hit like a girl' he laughed staring at me with his big brown eyes

'yeah because i am a girl' i laughed back as brad watched me carefully

'Not a girl' he snapped playfully

'NOT' brad yelled sticking his tongue out

'SHUTUP, IM TRYING TO GET CHILDREN ASLEEP!' Someone shouted angrily from a nearby window

Brad gulped and straightened his face as if he'd just been told off in school

Me mia and tris found this hilarious and started laughing hysterically, brad shot us a look and laughed a little himself

'Cars just here' tris said pointing to a black Volkswagen that was parked in front of us

Mia sat in the front with tris so i had to sit in the back with brad, well i say had i guess i wanted too

Tris put the key in the ignition and the car set off , interrupting my thoughts and worries about if brad would rather be sitting on his own

The ride was almost silent until tris turned up the radio

Some house music was playing through the speakers and tris tapped his fingers in a rhythm along with the song

Brad once again grabbed my hand and tangled our fingers together, all my worries about brad wanted to share a seat with me suddenly vanished all at once
