Chapter six: sleeping kitty
Weiss's POV:
I have to make my move first. I cant loose her to the enemy.
I was now looking for her in the library. This was one of my favorite places to be because I can study without Yang's jokes and Ruby's laughter. Also this was her favorite to read and to hide from the world. This time Im chasing her into her world, this is one thing that Im better at than Yang.
I turned my head and saw a black bow peeking over a small shelf. Walking up behind her, I peeked over her shoulder. She was reading about a young boy who fell in love with a girl and was trying to confess his love to her. She flipped the page. I pulled a book off the shelf, and stepped closer to her.
"Mind if I join you?" I asked, trying to sound casual. Amber eyes flickered up to look at me.
"Sure." She shrugged. I sat next to her and flipped my book open. My gaze would often land on her, studying her. she didnt notice.
"Whats your book about?" Blake finally spoke. I snapped away from my book and looked into her eyes. She surprised me.
"Ahh...... its about a girl who wants to live in a world without fear."
"After your finished, could I read it?" Blake asked, getting closer to me. She was looking over me to see the book. My face became slightly pinkish. She was very close to me, so close that her whole side was touching me.
"Sure." I said quickly. Then an idea popped in my head. "H-Hey why dont I r-read it to you? L-Like everyday when we have a free period?"
Blake thought it over. "Sure why not? It would be better since I started this one the other other day, and I hate to read two books at once. It would be nice to have someone read to me once." She smiled.
I smiled back. Blake turned back to her book, she still didnt move from my side. I felt like the luckiest person alive. My heart pounded, I thought Blake would hear it soon. I flipped the page over in my book, trying to concentrate on my book.
~time skipped~
An hour has pass and Blake hasn't stopped reading. Im starting to be tired. I like study and reading....... but this is too much. Blake has to be like ten times smarter than me, if she reads this much.
I feel my eyes start to get heavy with sleep. I almost fell asleep, then something touched my shoulder. I turned.
Blake had fallen asleep, she had bobbed head head a few times before finally falling on me. She was softly snoring, which she doesn't do much of. She must be tired. I took my free arm and slid the book out of her limp hands, marking her page before sitting it on the floor next to me. I sat up a little more, taking my hands to hold her head up. I laid her head on my lap, making sure it was comfortable. I now was watching her sleep. She looked like a angel sleeping there.
A few moments had past and a teacher was walking around telling a few students to leave since the library was closing. I sighed heavily.
"Blake wake up." Her eyes flickered awake and looked around. She sat up, and looked at me.
"Did I fall asleep?"
"Yes."
Blake blushed. She looked so cute! I stood up and offered her a hand. Her small hand landed on mine and I pulled her up.
"Thanks," Blake smiled. She walked away, starting to walk back to our dorm. I smiled, I think I am finally getting to her. My eyes fell to the ground looking at the books. I grabbed them, and raced after her.
"Wait Blake! You forgot your books!"
