well, nobody ever to my knowledge-- here's an explanation. 

I love scream with my entire heart. it is the movie that got me into movies, basically. it shaped my love of horror probably for the rest of my life. i'm really grateful for it's existence. it's probably, like, my third or fourth favorite movie. but with that being said, it doesn't bear for me what it did when I was 12-14.

I'm not really into billy loomis anymore!! every time I watch scream theres always gonna be a little spark, but fictional serial killers don't really do it for me anymore!! I don't feel right writing fanfic that my heart isn't really in.

so uh- 

I don't really know where I was planning for this book to go? I had like five different ideas that all disappeared in the year and a half I've been working on this. i'm glad its my most viewed story though in a way-- it is decent work! i'm very proud of how far it has gone. so from here, imagine your own ending ig! i'm very in love w the characters of erin & dana and am sad to see them go. my only solid plan throughout the writing of this was actually the direction I wanted erin's character to go.
