it was chaeyoung's mom who had found her lifeless body laying on the cold tiles of the bathroom. not only was she surrounded by an empty bottle of pills, there were papers scattered everywhere. on the bathroom counter rested a nearly illegible note, almost as if the writer was rushing to write the message he or she wanted to get across.

the note read, "to whoever finds me, i am incredibly sorry you were the unfortunate one who had to discover my (hopefully dead) body. i'm sorry i had to die this way, but it had to be done. i didn't want to continue life knowing that i was the ultimate reason kim taehyung died."

as the ambulance took chaeyoung's body away, her mother sat in the bathroom, balling her eyes out. she felt like she had failed her daughter by not taking further action when it became known that chaeyoung was very unhappy.

the heartbroken woman decided to open one of the scattered papers on the floor and began to read it.

with endless tears running down her face, she began to read the letter.

"dear taehyung,

the hardest thing about getting out of bed is that i have to leave the warmth of my mountain of blankets and pillows. i hope you're doing well..."
