Chapter 5: It Can't Be...

HI! IT’S THE SNAIL! This is going to be a longer chapter than last time! I’m, again, REALLY sorry about that! Hopefully this should make up for it! And…HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RAINBOW!

John’s POV

Demetri started the car and headed down the street, parking in front of a pizza parlor next to the coffee shop. I stepped out of the car and came over to her side to open the door for her, bowing.

        “Your majesty!” I said in an English accent. She chuckled.

        “YES! Bow down before the queen!” she demanded in a joking tone. I knelt down to amuse her, but instantly regretted it when my jeans’ knee turned wet from the rain water left on the ground. I shot up.

        “Ugh! Dangit!” I yelled. Demetri, being the nice person she is, started laughing her butt off! I started laughing along with her, until I realized that she wasn’t stopping. This sort of thing happens with Seto, too. (Oh, yeah! He was the guy at- *covers mouth* I mean nothing! Zek: What were you going to say? Nothing! *shifty eyes* Zek: Yeah…sure! C’mon, man! Just let me be!) I sighed and shook my head before grabbing her arm and pulling her inside.

        We sat down at a booth by the window and looked at the menus that were sitting in a rack, along with the salt, (O-O) pepper, red peppers, and parmesan. A waitress came up to us, looking at her pad, scribbling some stuff down. She started talking, still looking at the paper.

        “Hello, I’m Shelby. (YEEEEEES! I’m putting her in, too! 8D ) What can I get you today?” she asked. My eyes widened.

        “Shelby?” I questioned. She looked up.

        “John?!” she exclaimed with excitement evident in her voice. “What are you doing here?”

        “I just moved here to be closer to you and the guys!” I replied. Demetri was looking between us, looking utterly (*snicker* Sorry!) confused. “Demetri, this is Shelby, or Shubble…or lilshortysgs. We both play Minecraft on YouTube.” I explained, she nodded. I turned back to Shelby. “Shelby, this is my friend Demetri.”

        “Nice to meet you, Shelby,” Demetri said while sticking her hand out for Shelby to shake, which she gladly did with a smile.

        “Nice to meet you, too.” She turned back to me. “Have you seen anybody else, yet?” (YES! He just doesn’t know it! ,:) )

        “No, I was going to visit the Team Crafted house tomorrow.” I told her. She shook her head.

        “That won’t do! I’m calling Tyler and Taylor to come over here and see you! Maybe I can get H***** to see the light long enough to meet you, like I’ve been begging him to, but for some reason, he’s scared to even talk about any Minecraft YouTubers!” she said.
