The Twins

Chapter 5

We walk in the middle of the road, out of the neighborhood. This was the farthest I've ever been out of the neighborhood. Keith was talking endlessly about non sense and kicking rocks everywhere. He was pretty goofy, i liked that alot. I guess i wasstarting to like Keith more now because he didnt have girlfriend but Hunter did. They were both pretty funny and cute, that was the hard part. I stay walking in the back with Sydni, minding my buisness and keeping quiet. We were on our way to a woods i had never been to.

"Why being so quiet, Autumn?" Abby mocks.

"No reason." I quietly say and a smile tugs at my lips.

"Oooh! You like Keith, don't you!" Morgan giggles.

"What! No!" I yell, but accidently start to blush.

"Aww! Keith, Autumn likes you!" Abby coos, running up to Keith who is smirking. This was terrible! I didn't even like Keith that much, i liked Hunter! They continue to coo and mock until we reach the enterance of the woods.

"Come on!" Keith yells, acting like we are going on an adventure. We start to step into the muddy ground, our shoes start to get layered on the sides with dark brown mud. We come across a tree that had fallen but is still attached to the stump, making it diagonal.

Keith starts to climb the tree like a 5 year old on a play set. Abby joins in too, followed by Morgan. Sydni and I remain on the muddy grown and gape at the sight of them. Abby slips and almost falls. I giggle a little and Morgan starts to burst out laughing.

"Hey, Abby, since Morgan and you are here you should spend the night at my house like old times." I say and while watching Abby grip onto the rotting tree.

"Yeah! That would be amazing, but you should spend the night at Abby's." Morgan speaks, climbing farther on the tree. I simply nod and Abby agrees with Morgan.

I know that Abby's grandma will let me, im ready for tonights fun.
