It was getting dark and Abby, Morgan, and I had to get inside to Abby's house. We were walking back in the neighborhood.

"Okay, so you guys are sneaking out tonight right?" Keith asks quietly at the entrance of the neighborhood. I widen my wide.

"What! We're sneaking out?!" I say loudly.

"Shut up!" Abby yells at me. I laugh at her.

"Yeah, we're sneaking out, tonight." Morgan responds to my question.

"So we will be on Jordan's back porch by 2 or 3 a.m." Abby tells Keith. Keith was spending the night at Jordan's. I had asked him if Hunter was going to be there and he said he didn't know. I secretly wished he was going to be there tonight when we snuck out.

"Okay, bye guys." Keith waves, turning to leave the neighborhood to go to Jordan's.

He turns back around. "Can I have a hug, Sydni?" He asks Sydni, blushing a little bit. She blushes also and they hug for a brief moment. Keith had hugged me earlier and my chin had hit his shoulder because I was so short.

Keith waves bye to us and leaves. Abby, Morgan, Sydni, and I start to walk to Abby's house. Sydni wasn't spending that night at Abby's but her house was on the way to Abby's house.

Sydni waves bye and heads down her street. Abby, Morgan, and I walk into Abby's room and talk about what will go down tonight.

"So for like 2 hours before 2 a.m we need to get ready. Then at 2 a.m if my grandma is asleep we will go."

Honestly, i was nervous. i had never snuck out.

"I will do your makeup and hair and you can wear some of my clothes. You need to look good." Abby speaks to me as I stare in her mirror on her bed.

I nod.

I was now sitting in front of the mirror in the small, hot bathroom getting my hair curled while Abby was in the shower. "Your going to look so pretty." Morgan smirks as I stare at myself in the mirror. I didn't feel pretty. I had coats of makeup on that Abby had put on me. How is this attractive? I think in disgust.

"So how are we going to get out of the house?" I ask quietly as Abby turns off then bath water and gets out with a green and yellow towel rapped around her.

"We will try my window. If that doesn't work, then we can try the front door. If that fails then we aren't going." I nod.

I breath in a scent that Abby is spraying on Morgan. Morgan was already done, had been done for a long time now. She mad herself look extra good for Hunter because she thought for sure he was going to be there. I hated how excited she was to just see Hunter.

"Okay, your hair is done." Morgan mutters, turning off the hair curler and unplugging it.

"Come on." Abby leads me to her bedroom. "I'm gonna pick out some clothes for you." She was going through lots of piles of clothes, looking for the clothes that she wanted me to wear. At one point she pulled out her outfit and changed into it.

"Here, you're wearing a thong." She hands me a pink and white thong.

"I DO NOT want to wear a thong." I make a disgusting face expression.

"You're wearing it. Put it on." She laughs at my expressions. I obey her and put it on. This is not comfy at all.

Abby hands me a pare of white shorts that had some gray skulls on them and a gray and blue tank top. I quickly change, getting more and more excited to sneak out.

We were all ready.

We tiptoe into the kitchen and Abby peers into her grandma's room. She was asleep, good. I tiptoe back into Abby's room, following her and Morgan. "Let's open the window."

She sticks her finger tips under the white panel and slowly lifts the window up. The window seal creaks everytime she moves it. Luckily, Abby's grandma's room was farther way from her room, making any noise unheard.

"Damn it!" Abby snaps in frustration. "We can't get through here, there is a screen."

"Can't you just take the screen out?" I ask, tapping my finger tips on the small screen.

"No, it's built in." Abby sighs, pushing the window back down. "We can try the front door."

We tiptoe to the front door, making a creaking sound in every footstep we take, making a risk. Abby pulls the wooden stand with two plants on it out of the way of the door. She slowly unlocks the door, making a click

sound. She tries pulling the door open without making any noise. It creaks loudly. Morgan peers into Abby's grandma's room. My heart sinks as Morgan makes a motion for us to go back to Abby's room.

"She's awake! She's awake!" Morgan panics. Abby tiptoes into the kitchen to get a better look into her grandma's room and cover up our sneaking out plan.

"Want something to drink?" Abby asks and winks. "Make your hair messier. Make it look like we aren't dressed up." She whispers to Morgan and I. I slowly and carefully sit down my shoes on the linoleum.

I run my fingers through my softly curled hair, making it look like I wasn't going anywhere. My heartbeats fast, feeling nervous that we might be caught.

"Get your shoes, let's go." Abby whispers to me and Morgan. I quickly grab my blue flip flops off the white, rusted linoleum. We hurry into Abby's. "We have to get out of here." Abby mutters and begins to think of what other way.

"We can go out my sister's window! It doesn't have a screen!"

We tiptoe into Justice's, Abby's ten year old sister's room. Justice had helped Abby sneak out many times before and had never told on her. Abby speaks quickly and quietly with Justice. She then again sticks her fingertips under the window and lifts up, not making any noise. Abby nods to me and I slip my head first into the window, followed by my left leg then other leg. They both come out after me. Abby slowly unlocks the gate door that secures her yard.

We were finally out in the humid, night, sneaking out.
