"Your son is quite a complicated case, Mr and Mrs Yagi. You see, the lack of a second joint in our foot signifies us to be from the next generation with quirks. Your son, Izuku has slight indications that there would have been a second joint, but it never really got the chance to form." The doctor explained, tapping on a chart on his table.

Toshinori and Inko sat in front of their family doctor, still confused about the results.

This gives him a chance of forming a quirk but he might be a really late bloomer. I'd say he's a really lucky boy, Inko." The doctor said, smiling at Izuku.

Izuku flashed a wide grin right back at the doctor.

"Could we do anything to speed up the process?" Inko Yagi said, glancing at young Izuku.

"It'd be better to wait. Basically, when a person goes through forced quirk activation, it can cause them trauma and a lot of injuries. I suggest you wait this out."

"And could you tell us what kind of quirk it might be?" Toshinori asked.

"With his blood samples, it's definitely an S ranked quirk. There's a strong chance that he might get a very strong version of your Telekinesis or a combination of Toshinori's and your quirks. But there's a high chance that this turns out to be inaccurate."

"So we can't really know the quirk right now?" Inko asked.

"No. With this new change in quirks, we can't really predict anymore." The doctor said, noting things down in his notebook.

"We'll get going. Thank you, Doctor."

The Doctor gave the trio a warm smile.

Izuku was ecstatic that would get a quirk! His birthday had already passed by 2 weeks ago, causing a lot of people to think he was quirkless.

Inko was relieved to know that her son had a quirk.

The Wait

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and months were close to turning into a year. Izuku still didn't show any sign of a quirk. They had taken a lot of tests and every one of them proved positive. So where was that damned quirk?

One Night, Izuku heard noises in his parents' room. He slowly crept there and put his ears against the door.

".... If he has no quirk, he's useless to me."

All Might married so he could pass his quirk down to somebody with a strong quirk who would easily surpass him. Normally the quirks of the parents would combine and pass down to their child. In his case, if the child manifested a quirk, it would be a combination of telekinesis and One for all. Just think of it for once, even if the child had gotten 50% of his quirk, which is 700% of OFA, One for all passed down to the child would result in him gaining 2300% of the quirk having lot more power than the predecessor. A normal person would gain 100% of the last person, and with the stockpile effect maybe twice or thrice.

Unfortunately, things hadn't quite played out his way.

A/N: The power uses the strength of past users. There is 100% of one person but the second person has their own power. This gives 200% power. The third person has the original 100% plus 200% and their own 100% as well. The power level is multiplied by itself. This was suggested by - Dukeelei

He loved Inko, he never called for a quirk marriage. It was simply pure love. He did decide to marry for a child who would get his quirk, but he did focus on finding love at one point.

Into slapped him.

"HOW CAN YOU CALL HIM A THING! HE'S YOUR SON FOR GODS SAKE TOSHI! QUIRK OR NO QUIRK HE'S A GOOD PERSON. PROBABLY BETTER THAN ANY OF THOSE QUIRKED BRATS!"

After Inko calmed down, she spoke again.

"Toshi.. think straight. The doctors said he has a quirk, why are you giving up on him? Do you need to be reminded that this quirk of yours isn't your own?" Inko glared at him while cupping his face.

Toshinori flinched.

Inko was a sweet cinnamon roll most of the time but could be a scary person as well. Her hero name was given to her as the spying hero: Evangelion. Her acting skills were better than any actor in Japan. However if used right, they would scare the No #1 hero as well.

"Give him a chance .. if you train him well he could be a worthy successor than the one you'd have to train if you decided to choose someone else," Inko calmly said.

Little Izuku stood outside, looking down in shame. His own father, the #1 hero, gave up on him. The thing is, this made him want to prove himself to his father, and he started working hard, excelling in every single subject.
