Janay's POV
I did it. I survived the first week of a new school in Virginia. I really do hate this place, it's nothing like the city.
"janay sweetie! can you come down a minute?" my stepdad called me downstairs.
"what's up?" I walked into our kitchen a grabbed an apple off the counter.
"sit sit," he pulled out a stool from under out island thing and I sat down.
"your mom and I have realized that we've been a little hard on you about this move and since we are no longer in New York and you can't walk or take the subway everywhere.." he reached into his pocket and slid a pair of keys my way.
"no." I jumped out of the stool grabbing the keys, "am I being punk'd are you forreal?" I nearly screamed.
"it's yours honey.." my mom smiled while her and my stepfather held hands.
"where is it?!" I shouted with excitement. I've always wanted my own car but never really needed one since we lived in the city, I had my license in New York so now all I had to do was get one for Virginia and AHH! I can't believe they bought me a freaking car.
"out front" she smiled at me lovingly. I didn't even bother putting on my shoes and ran straight out the kitchen to the front door. I opened the door, nearly fell down the porch steps and jumped down to the grass. I was going full speed until I stopped in my tracks seeing the car.. shit it wasn't even a car it was a.. a..
"A MINIVAN?!" I shouted and spun around to see my loving parents smiling from ear to ear. this must be a joke, do they want me to be the biggest loser of senior year. "are you.. is this?"
"now I know it isn't the best looking car or the fastest car but it's something," my stepdad placed a hand on my shoulder admiring the gold dinosaur in front of us.
"the red bow was my idea.." my little brother smiled at me, one finger pointing to the big bow on top of my.. car... and the other digging for gold up his nose.
I couldn't throw a fit, not with the looks on my stepdad and little brothers faces. "thanks guys, it's great" I lied. I walked over and unlocked the door, sitting in the drivers seat. I turned to look at the back, roomy.. good if I ever want to drive my nonexistent friends back there or have sex with my nonexistent boyfriend.
"I know it's not your dream car but.." my stepdad began again.
"it's great really.. I mean I feel like a soccer mom but it's better than walking or taking the school bus" I laughed.
"hey you'd make an awesome soccer mom" Xavier spoke, continuing his quest up his nose.
"thank xavi" I smiled at my little brother. silently sighing to myself I mentally prepared myself for next week of school and all the ridicule I would receive.

Michael's POV
"hey that's your new neighbor right?" my friend Calum sat on my front porch looking next door. Janice or whatever the fuck her name just got home and was getting out of her piece of shit minivan. She's had it for what? 2 weeks and she's always in that thing.
"obviously if you never seen her before and she lives next door" I rolled my eyes. yeah I know I said I didn't have any friends but Calum was different. I wouldn't really consider him a friend, more of a.. pet.
"well excuuuuuuse me and dude she's hot, I don't know why you said she wasn't."
"oh really you think she's hot? well why don't you go over there and tell her how hard she makes you."
