~Percy~

I stared at the window, not out, but at.

I was bored out of my mind, it was last period but all I could think of is my father. Would Triton kill him? Has he already done something horrible?

If I continued thinking about it, I would go insane. So, no more thinking.

But, could I use the pearls? He said that only a bronze blood child of his could use the pearls, do I count? I should count, I haven't been disowned by my dad and I count as bronze blooded.

The bell rings and I stand up. Travis pretty much shoves me.

"Dude, what the Hades?" I shout at him with venom laced in my voice.

Travis scoffed, "I called for you, like, 40 times!"

I just rolled my eyes and kept walking, "So, what is it?"

"You look . . . scared," he says.

I just stare at him with confusion, "I'm not."

Travis shook his head and walked next to me silently.

We went home after that, I plopped onto my bed and felt my pocket. I should see if I can use these, they may come in handy.

~Annabeth~

I watched as Percy went into his apartment, I was a bit worried. How exactly was this effecting him?

I gently knocked on the door to his bedroom, it opened slowly.

"Oh, hey wise girl," Percy smiled.

I pushed into the bedroom and shut the door behind me.

"Tell me what's wrong with you," I demanded him.

He flexed his jaw, "Nothing is wrong, what's wrong with you?"

"Nothing is wrong with me! Percy, if you want to talk I wont judge you," I reasoned.

He stared at the floor, then back to me, "I'm just worried."

"I know you are, but you have to trust me," I replied to him. I put my arms around him, he did the same to me.

"I'll tell you latter," Percy promised.

I nodded, "You know I'm holding your words against you, right?"

"Yeah, I know," he answered.

~

"So, what does that even mean?" Piper asked me.

I shrugged, "I don't know! All he said was 'I'll tell you latter!' I want to know now!"

"Like, how much more latter?" Katie asked me. I shrugged again, I truly was confused.

"I didn't even realize, Percy just sort of. . . always jokes around. I never noticed that he was sad, but that sounds cryptic," Katie finished.

"It is," I agreed, "this is annoying me. I want to know now, I think he might just be scared."

Piper stood up, she cracked open the bedroom window, "Well, I mean he is telling you what is wrong right? Maybe he has something to show you. Delphi did say that Percy needed to be hidden for a while."

"Maybe he has some sort of power he just doesn't know of," Clarisse piped in.

"Or maybe he knows something," Piper suggested.

I added onto it, "Or he has something."

"He is the only bronze blooded son of Poseidon, that must have something to do with it," Clarisse speculated.
